Three Nepalese men have been remanded for seven days in connection with the brutal murders of a woman and her 11-year-old daughter in Kampung Sekolah Juru, Penang.

00:10Penang Police Chief Datuk Azizi Ismail said the Bukit Murtajam Magistrates Court granted the remand order on Saturday to assist investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code for Murder.
00:23The suspects, aged between their 30s and 40s, include one believed to be the main perpetrator.
00:30He was arrested at the Immigration Department while allegedly trying to flee abroad, while the other two were caught at a house in Bukit Terengah.
