00:00This is storytelling with a capital S. It's the Stephen King universe. The native
00:08story has been there but we've never had we never ever able to join you all at
00:13the table and it was like we have stories too. I spent my entire life working to
00:20bring our stories to the world and to help give our just give space for our
00:27voices. I have never been to a reservation or a Native American community that did
00:32not have a place where you do not go. You do not go because you do not know. I play
00:40a character named Rose, Rose knows. Undergirding so much of the Stephen King
00:44universe is this sense of something's going on with the land. The land remembers
00:50even though we've forgotten and there is something dwelling there that could could
00:54be very harmful and we don't understand and so it was such a gift to get to
00:59play this indigenous character that has all this ancestral knowledge that's been
01:04passed down from generation to generation to generation. My community in this story
01:10knows everything that happened before Derry was Derry and there was a first
01:16losers club and that losers club was a group of indigenous kids and my character
01:22place a direct descendant of those kids. We get to tell the story and go dive deep
01:27deep into the origins of of what terrifies us most about it.
