13:17I'm a little famous for a record I set by wearing a straitjacket
13:20for two weeks.
13:21I thought about doing it all again,
13:23except this time blindfolded.
13:26Not my best idea ever.
13:27I do comedy magic with an absurdist undertone.
13:31And I throw myself into what I do.
13:36Penn and Teller picked up on that last time.
13:38You don't have to do anything after that entrance.
13:40And a really good fall.
13:42I'm addicted to laughter because a good laugh
13:45is a connection between people.
13:47I got my sense of humor from my dad.
13:49Dad loved life and laughter.
13:51He died recently, much too soon.
13:54When I'm out there tonight and I hear the audience go up,
13:57that's my dad's laugh I'm hearing.
13:59And like they say, laughter heals.
14:01And I know from my own life that that's true.

16:30Because this is now my most prized possession.
16:35It's the only piece of confetti in the world that looks like this one.
16:39And because it's so important, I would hate to lose it among a thousand other pieces of confetti.

21:40Because if your timing is not perfect, you're up creek without a paddle moving to the sign
21:46again, that was also timed perfectly.

23:02I have Tourette's syndrome, and it went undiagnosed for 20 years.
23:06The grimacing and the head jerks, they're a compulsion.
23:09So I was ostracized and became sad and alone.
23:13But my symptoms are barely noticeable when I'm performing.
23:17Focusing on the magic takes them away.
23:19I remember when I did a trick at school, and every head turned.
23:23They were delighted and amazed.
23:25In that moment, I didn't just feel seen.
23:27I felt understood.
23:29When I met my wife, the first thing I did was a card trick.
23:32Then bit by bit, I showed her who I am.
23:34All of it.
23:35She said it's OK, and that she loved me.
23:38Acceptance like that, it changes your life.
23:41We have two beautiful kids.
23:43My kids have Tourette's too, and they're also perfect in every way.
23:46Accepting them for who they are, it's like another chance.
23:49They stood in for Penn & Teller, and they helped me get ready for Fool Us.
23:52And with their help, I'm as ready for Penn & Teller as I can be.

28:51Cups and balls is always an abstract thing.
28:54And this becomes a concrete thing with all objects that we know and recognize.
28:59And you use the fact that you're using real props way beyond what you could do with the cups and balls.

29:15And here we are in Las Vegas, we always have the fear when we're watching the act that we aren't going to be able to tell how you did it.

29:26We have to tell you that as much as we loved it, we think we have a pretty good idea how you did it.
