00:06Hotel, which I'm absolutely loving. I was just telling you how much I love you on this show.
00:10Thank you. What made you decide to check into the Love Hotel? You know, I had been single
00:15for about a year. I had my DUI and I just wanted to focus on myself and I thought it was really
00:23good timing. Like, okay, I've been single a year. I can be on my own. But I walked in, you know,
00:29my last relationship was with someone that clearly liked the fame. So it's like, I just
00:34said, go have fun. And if you end up meeting somebody, then that's a bonus.
00:39So do you think that that was kind of a good thing that none of the guys knew who any of
00:42you guys were?
00:43Oh, it was amazing because, you know, that's always something that you wonder. And in fact,
00:49at one point, and you don't see it on the show, but at one point I had Earl come to my room
00:54and I showed him scenes from clips from, you know, Real Housewives of Orange County. And he,
01:00you know, he was like, you've got to be kidding me. You know, he had no idea.
01:04The sisterhood that the four of you on Bravo's Love Hotel have formed has been
01:07one of my favorite things to watch. Who would you say you've grown the closest to?
01:12Well, I think that because Giselle and Ashley, you know, have been filming together for so
01:18many years and they have a close friendship, I probably was closest to Luann. But I'm close
01:24to all of them, to be honest with you. And really, I appreciate their support of me. And
01:32they're just all immensely kind.
01:35Yeah. Well, one scene that, you know, particularly struck me was between you and Ashley. And it
01:40was when you were marking me one year of your DUI.
01:43Right. Mm-hmm. Today at 11.59 is the one year mark of my DUI. And I shared that with Earl
01:53and I just thought that 11.59, he would go, look where you are now.
01:56Right. Celebrate you.
01:58And he it up. One year ago, I took a selfie of myself that I didn't even remember taking.
02:05And here I am, a better and stronger person as a result of everything that's happened.
02:10Yeah. What did that moment mean to you with her?
02:13You know, I, I really, I didn't realize until I watched the show that she intended to get to
02:21know Jason better and spend time with him. And knowing that now, you know, that she said, look,
02:27I'm going to be with Shannon right now, really means a lot to me. And I, you know, it's not like I
02:33wanted to make some celebration out of it. It's just that for me, I didn't even realize until earlier
02:40that day that it was the one year mark, but I, I was just in such a dark place that I didn't think
02:46I'd be able to get out of and to, to be where I was and, and where I am and in such a happier place.
02:53You know, I wanted to like, you know, say good.
02:56You and Earl the Pearl hit it off pretty quickly. What was it about him that drew, you know, you to him?
03:01Was it the alligator shoes?
03:03Um, no, it was not the alligator shoes.
03:06Um, I, I told him, I think on our first date, he has very kind eyes, just drawn to his eyes.
03:13And I, I really appreciated his vulnerability and his openness about talking about his life.
03:21And I, you know, I really had such a, um, I, I just, my heart broke for him to know that,
03:28you know, his whole life he wanted to have, he said he wanted to have a basketball team of kids
03:33and that he didn't have any of his own children. And, you know, I, I felt really horrible about that.
03:37By episode three, you guys were already kind of having your first fight.
03:41I don't know why I gave you this. I don't eat vegetables. So.
03:44What do you mean you don't eat vegetables?
03:46Who doesn't eat vegetables?
03:48A lot of people. Why don't you always look surprised like you want to slap me?
03:53Because you've been criticizing me and I, maybe not that forceful, but he was angry.
03:59Ashley, I have been spending so much time with him because I want to develop bigger feelings for him,
04:06because I know he's such a good person. So.
04:09Were you surprised by how soon that came and is not eating vegetables typically a red flag for you?
04:14Okay. Okay. Like I, we had a banter, Earl and I, like a teasing banter back and forth then,
04:21but it was very early on. And I, um, I, no, I could really care less. In my mind, I was joking in my
04:31head saying, well, write that down on the list. Earl needs vegetables. Um, and I wish that he would
04:36have just said, Hey, I feel like you're criticizing me. Cause I would have said, Oh my, that's not my
04:41intent. And it would have been over. And I, I don't like how emotional I got, but I will say that I was so
04:50happy and surprised by, you know, being happy with Earl that, uh, I just felt like that ruined
04:57everything because it got to be so explosive. And I, so that's what really devastated me. Right.
05:03Well, if you could describe your current love life in three words, how would you describe it?
05:06Single, single, single. Really? Well, I mean, I'm not married or engaged, but I mean, I, I'm not a big
05:15dater. I am a relationship girl. That's why I was a little uncomfortable at the love hotel because,
05:20um, I, I, I don't date multiple people and I don't ask men out on dates either. So
05:26it was, um, but I liked being uncomfortable because on Real Housewives of Orange County,
05:30I'm, I'm comfortable all the time. So it was kind of, kind of fun to be a little awkward.
05:35Which, um, housewives or a housewife would you want to see on a potential season two?
05:40You know, I, um, I think that it would be fun to see people from other types of shows,
05:47uh, Bravo shows be on it. Um, I think Lala Kent would be great on the show. Um,
05:53um, and Paige DeSorbo. They would be great. That would be a lot of fun.
05:57Um, and now I want to shift gears a little bit because I know you mentioned before you just,
06:01uh, finished wrapping OC. Um, you know, we know Gretchen's back this season. What was it like to film
06:07with her? It was great because I, I never had filmed with her before. So she's very kind and sweet. And so
06:14is Slade. They've been nothing but nice. And I think she was a great addition to the show.
06:18Well, is there anything else you can tease about what's to come in, in these last few episodes of
06:22Love Hotel? Well, I will say that there may be at least one person that is still dating the person
06:29they love with.
