03:59A chance for everyone to ride the course will be at a little rain soap this time.
04:06It wouldn't be this criterion without the devil, but the stars are here.
04:29Ahead for the riders, 17 laps of 3.6 km, a total distance 61.2 km this time.
04:38A slight difference in the super arena, but the flag dropped after the neutralised section.
04:50All the classifications as usual, including the sprints and the king of the mountains.

05:44The rain pouring on the backs of the riders.
05:49Terrible weather conditions to race in.
05:52Sprint number three, close contest.
05:55Cavendish took it that time, ahead of Germay and Philipson.

06:34And the bell lap with Primoz Roglic going clear on his own.
06:40So close to the finish line for the winner of La Vuelta.
06:43But just behind, look at the sprinters queuing up.
06:49Binium Gamay with a fantastic lead out from Intermarche 1T.
06:53Roglic almost at the finish line.
06:56But Gamay, the Eritrean powerhouse, comes through to win this event.
07:02Gamay with his signature salute.
07:05I can imagine, to be honest, in the beginning of the season, I didn't expect to be like now, you know.
07:17But yeah, especially in July, out there in France was unbelievable, you know.
07:23To win three stages and to have the green jersey, it's super nice.
07:28And again now, like first time in Asia, first time in Japan.
07:33And to start with this beautiful victory, it's really nice, you know, I'm super happy.
07:39Binium Gamay wins the 10th edition of the Saitama Criterium, just ahead of Roglic.

08:06He was in the mix all day.
08:09Best team, Astana Kazakhstan.
08:11I'd like to say thank you for today, for myself and on behalf of the riders.
08:16For an incredible turnout, for incredible support, for the kindness everybody's shown us.
08:21And it's been a wonderful, a wonderful day to enjoy probably my last time at a race in Japan.
08:31So, thank you.
08:34Thanks for watching this 10th edition.
