00:00I feel like we got to see a lot more of your house, which we don't really see as in-depth
00:04on Real Housewives. I thought it was interesting you had a bidet and you have a dishwasher that
00:09opens when you knock on it twice. What is your favorite feature about your home that most other
00:13homes might not have? Oh, that's a good question. You know, one thing that you'll notice, and the
00:20swap wife didn't even know what it was. I just love my Mele coffee machine because I push a button
00:26and then it offers all the drink options. And I hit my little double espresso in the morning.
00:32It's just part of my routine that I use every single day. I mean, look, I use the bidet. I have
00:37heated toilet seats and the water on the bidet is even heated. So those are definitely luxuries
00:43that I missed while I was gone. But who just doesn't love their coffee at a push of a button?
00:48It was so sweet to see you with Lindsay and Tanner's kids. And before the kids met you,
00:53they were kind of asked, what do you expect out of a Real Housewife? And their answer
00:56was rich and bratty. What do you think she's going to be like?
01:01Rich and a little brat.
01:05Why? Because rich people are little brats.
01:09Do you think that they would have a different view now that they've spent, you know, quite
01:12a bit of time with you?
01:13Yes, absolutely. I think we bonded. I fell in love with them. I think they fell in love
01:18with me, especially the little girl. There was a true connection. I mean, the amount
01:24of hugs I got, you know, every single day, I just felt the love from her. And I still
01:29think about her all the time.
01:31I loved when Lindsay tried on your iconic pink sunglasses and she immediately thought
01:36they'd be perfect for dirt biking and mountain biking.
01:38What were these dirt biking or mountain biking? Who needs this many glasses?
01:42All my eyes could see was like splats of mud on them because I have been, you know, I have
01:50been on like a four-wheeler and I know how messy that is. And I just thought, how dare
01:55she? My glasses. So yeah, I don't think she realized, you know, that they're kind of like
02:02they're iconic and they're going to be a keepsake for like for one day. So I'm glad she didn't
02:07take him out, doing anything recreational with them.
02:11The house you went to in Idaho, it does not have running water. The bath was literally
02:17outside the tub. The tub. Wow.
02:20All of the kids shower.
02:23What? So will I, this is where I'll shower and wash my hair?
02:28Yeah.
02:30I need to know, did you actually use that bathtub?
02:32Oh, uh, well, you know, there's a great scene that didn't make it. Uh, but we did kind of a
02:40whole little overhaul on the outside, made it beautiful for her. And I did get to get in it on
02:46the last day and it was heated by a fire underneath very unconventional way. I mean, I've got heated
02:53water coming out of my toilets and, um, you know, I've never had to heat the water under a bathtub,
02:59but it was a special moment that didn't air. It was really cool. So I did get to use it.
03:03And so I got one little bath that day I left.
03:08That's funny. We need like an extended.
03:10Oh, I know there was so much that didn't make it in, but it was, it was a great hour. And, um,
03:17there's just too much, there were too many special moments to cram them all in.
03:21Yes. Well, I'm glad that we at least got the scene of you taking out the toilet.
03:25Oh my gosh. Very humbling moment. Okay. Hazel one chore down. Do you know? I've never seen one
03:36of those. I didn't know. And the little boy even said, you don't have to change it every day.
03:41Sometimes we can use it like 40 times before you change it. So it doesn't drop anywhere. A compost
03:48toilet is a bag that just catches it like a little poop bag for your dog, but a giant poop bag. It was
03:55humbling to say the least. You were going through your own thing over in Idaho. And then you had
04:00Sean and Electra attempting to go off grid back in Utah. How do you think they fared with that?
04:06You know, Lindsay is very sweet, but obviously, you know, she wanted to give them a taste of,
04:12of new rules in her life. And it was things that, you know, some of the surprise things that you'll
04:18see that they did that they're not used to doing. And so, you know, teenagers are, they want to do
04:24different things. You know, she's got small children. You can still kind of make small
04:28children do the things you want them to do. Teenagers want to do what they want to do.
04:32They want to have their phone so they can stay connected to their friends. And yeah,
04:37Lindsay's rules were, you know, she, she made some changes. So like out in the hills in your backyard.
04:47So no showers. Our phones will be inside all night long.
04:51Are we like actually like staying out there all night?
04:55Yeah.
04:55They loved Lindsay and said she was very sweet. And I think they also learned a lot. You'll be
05:00surprised at some of the, you know, the food prep and some of the things that she does that were
05:05a little shocking and different that they have never experienced, or my daughter has never
05:10experienced. I also love to see Mary pop in for the rescue.
05:15New wife.
05:18No, no, no. No, no, no. That's what we're doing.
05:21We're learning how to gut fish.
05:24No.
05:25Did you ask her to check in on them before you left?
05:28I did. And she was willing to do it. And it was so fun. I think when she met Lindsay
05:33and when she walked in on what she walked in on, she was even more worried about me and she wanted
05:39to come rescue me. And do you know, she was texting me, but I couldn't get service. And so
05:45we didn't speak. So she was probably really worried.
05:48Melissa Gorga, I saw she recently did a radio show or podcast or something. She was talking
05:52about how she really pushed for personal security in this experience. Was that something that you had
05:57on your mind as well going into it?
05:59You know, interestingly enough, when I first heard about it, I thought, oh, I'm sleeping
06:03in this house with this another man. And like, in my mind, you know, I wondered, would there be
06:10security? And I thought, of course there would, because it'd probably be a liability for them
06:14not to have it needed or not, of course. But then when I met Tanner and the kids, I just thought,
06:20oh my gosh, I don't need security. You know, if anyone, I'm the one that people call security on.
06:24So I just, they were the most wonderful, sweet people. And we clicked in an instant and I wasn't
06:31worried the moment I met them. I mean, I was in the middle of nowhere and still didn't feel like
06:36I needed security. They were so sweet.
06:39Speaking of, you know, Melissa has an episode coming out. Emily Simpson has an episode. Wendy
06:43also filmed an episode. Which other episodes are you most excited to see?
06:48I mean, really just all of them, because truthfully, I don't know any of these other women.
06:53Well, except Emily. I know Emily. I've met her. She's very sweet. She's a lot of fun.
07:00I think her husband's hilarious. So I feel like Emily, I definitely have a connection with the
07:06other two women I had never met. And so, or I've never really gotten to know, excuse me,
07:11I met Melissa briefly at BravoCon, but I don't know them. So it'll be an opportunity for me to get to
07:17know them better. So I think I'm equally excited to see all of them, knowing that every swap was such a
07:22different experience. We've seen your relationship with your dad on Salt Lake City. We love to watch
07:27it. I love to watch it. You know, we know he's gone through so much. What did he think of you going
07:32to this remote location, doing something totally different? Has he seen the episode yet?
07:37So I just got the episode late last night and he's going to see it tonight. He did film,
07:41but because there was so much to get in, that little clip of him coming didn't make it.
07:46But he met Lindsay and he thought she was very sweet. They connected on hunting and fishing.
07:53Lindsay sent my dad a hat and a fishing pole. She was so sweet. And so there was a great little
08:00connection there. And when he met her, you know, his first, you know, the thing he said is Angie's
08:05great and I'm not worried about her. She'll be fine. And he talked about how he grew up very similar
08:11to that. You know, no running water, no electricity. And I think my dad knows that I'm humble and that,
08:16you know, he knew that I'd get through it. No problem. And I've heard his story. So,
08:22you know, it's new to me, but it's not new to me. I just have never lived like that.
08:26We saw in this week's episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City that Lisa Barlow thinks she could
08:30be a farmer.
08:31I could be a farmer. That's my goal. I feel like for a week, I would be a great farmer.
08:38Out of all of your castmates, who do you think would do the best in an environment like the
08:44one Tanner and Lindsay live in?
08:46You know, I've got to say it's a time it's going to be Heather and Whitney, because I think
08:49they're both, you know, very down to earth. And I think that they could have handled the chores
08:55and the entire situation with Grace. And, you know, they're easy to get along with. They both love,
09:02you know, children and family. And I think they'd be fun. I think it's kind of a tie with the two of
09:07them. It's hard to pick one.
09:09One last quick question. What is one thing about the life you live that you'll never take for
09:14granted again now that you've gone and lived this other life?
09:19Oh, that's, oh, that's interesting. You know, oh my gosh. Just, I love Salt Lake City. Like I wake up
09:28every morning, I pour my little espresso and I look out at the city and I'm such a city girl. I need
09:34to be around people. I need to be around, you know, seeing kids and dogs out in the neighborhood
09:38and I just thrive off energy. So it's just, you know, 360 degree views of this amazing city and,
09:45and being in a, you know, around, around people, just being a city girl.
