00:00Your episode was so much fun. What were your initial thoughts when they approached you with

00:04this? And what made you decide to do it? You know, it's, it's funny. I feel like when I was

00:09initially asked to do it, I don't know if this is just me not listening very well or not asking

00:14enough questions, but my interpretation was that it was like switching with another housewife.

00:20And I, I think I thought that up until like probably two days before I started filming

00:26the actual wife swap. And I was like, wait, wait, what? Cause I just had visions of like,

00:31I'll probably switch with Melissa Gorga or something. You know, that would make sense.

00:35You know, she comes here and she has to deal with Shane and I have to go deal with Joe Gorga. And I

00:40mean, that's good TV, right? That's what I thought. And then when I realized I was like, wait, I'm

00:44switching with someone. I don't know who they are and I don't know where I'm going. I don't know who

00:47this man is. I was like, okay. I thought it was funny when you first walked in and you were way

00:51more accepting of the pig in the house than the Crocs. Oh my God, there's a pig. There's a freaking

00:56pig. Can you show me around? Would you like to take a tour? Oh my gosh. I thought a pig would be

01:01softer. It's so wiry. There's Crocs. I can't deal with Crocs. I can't. Can you explain that a little

01:08bit? You know, I mean, at the end of the day, I'm from Ohio. I grew up in the Midwest. I grew up,

01:14we had horses and dogs and barn cats and the whole thing. So I'm very used to living with animals in my

01:21space. So that doesn't bother me. I mean, even now in Orange County, I have three dogs and two

01:25cats in the house. So animals around me at all times, it doesn't bother me. Crocs. Yes. That

01:31bothers me, but that is offensive. Everyone loves your husband, Shane. And you know, his sarcastic

01:37sense of humor has really just become a staple. I feel like, was there ever any part of you that

01:41worried about how he would fare with another wife in the house? You know, I do worry about that

01:46sometimes because I do, I mean, it took like what, like three or four years before the audience to

01:50really embrace Shane. And I think that's normal. Cause I mean, even in, you know, my relationships

01:55with friends, it's taken years. I mean, now all my friends love him, but it takes a while. He's like

02:00a slow, it's a slow warmup with him. And there's a lot of times where he, he really rides that fine

02:09line of sarcasm. Like it could go either way. It's like, is it funny or is he not funny? So I worried

02:17that I was like, I hope she's not easily offended because if she's easily offended,

02:22then he's probably going to offend her. So, but it, it seemed like that they got along great.

02:26And so that was great. Your kids are all adorable. I love to see Annabelle slowly warming up to Callie.

02:32My parents were almost, but I like ran into so many bushes and like fell off it so many times.

02:38I'm seeing the genuine smile. We're laughing. Truly. It just took time, took patience.

02:44Did that surprise you? And how's your relationship with your daughter today?

02:48You know, my relationship with Annabelle, I mean, I think it's great. I do realize that

02:53she's at that 12 year old, almost 13 age. So, you know, we bought heads a lot because she thinks

02:58that she should just raise herself and make all her own decisions. And, you know, she tells me I'm

03:03lame and I'm cringe and I'm a boomer and all the things that she says, but, you know, I, I just,

03:09I don't let that, I mean, yeah, bothers me sometimes, but, um, I, I just keep coming back.

03:14You know what I mean? I think that's really how you have to parent tween. That's what she is,

03:19is just, I'm just keep coming back, keep showing up. Even though I keep getting abused, I still

03:24keep coming back every day. It seems like fans like overall are just gaining a more appreciative

03:30understanding of each real housewife who's done this show. What do you hope the fan base takes

03:35away about you after watching your episode? You know, I just think that, you know, maybe wife swap

03:41shows a little more, you know, maybe a little more dynamic as to who I am, you know, as, as a mom

03:48and as a wife and as someone that's very committed to my family. And, you know, cause a lot of times

03:55with housewives, I would say the majority is with the other women. And then that can be contentious

04:00and that can be dramatic, but I, I loved doing wife swap because it just got to focus on families

04:06and our relationships and marriage and our children. And so, you know, I hope maybe that

04:12the viewers just take away that at the end of the day, like I'm a mom first and I'm a wife first.

04:17And that's what truly, that's, what's truly in my heart. And that's who I am. And a lot of times

04:23I think people just see you as a character on housewives that is just like arguing with other

04:28women. And I just hope that they see more of a full view of me as a mom and a wife, you know,

04:34I would love to ask you a couple of quick questions about orange County. You know,

04:38there's some shocking information revealed about Tamara allegedly leaking storylines to bloggers.

04:43There seemed to be some substantial evidence when, uh, Gina, Jen, and Shannon talked to one of them.

04:48They said, I know you don't know who I am. I'm just someone who wants to expose the truth.

04:53Tamara has been leaking details about the entire season throughout filming to bloggers and fan pages.

04:59She does turn off talking mainly on Instagram and it's also play-by-play during filming.

05:05What did she make of that whole situation? Um, you know, for me, I felt like that was pretty

05:10clear and convincing evidence. I mean, the fact that this guy, whoever he was, I know they disguised

05:15his voice, but, um, I mean the, the, the information that he knew was so detailed. I mean,

05:21we're talking dates, you know, restaurants, they went to the fact that it was like Tamara that told

05:27Gina about the screenshot with Gretchen. Like they knew that, I mean, they knew really detailed

05:32information about the content and the, and the things going on. And so, I mean, the only way someone

05:37could know that is if someone on the show told them that, so, you know, it had to come from one

05:42of us. And the fact that they're saying it came from Tamara, like, I don't know why we would dispute

05:46that it came from Tamara. It had to come from one of us and they're saying it's Tamara. So,

05:51I mean, it seems pretty foolproof to me.

05:54Cause I know you and Tamara have kind of grown closer over the last few years, especially where

05:57does that leave you in, you know, with your friendship with her?

06:01Well, I don't know exactly where our friendship is right now. Um, because I feel like she came into

06:05the reunion, like she was pissed at me coming into the reunion. So I don't really understand that.

06:11And then, you know, when they show that final scene at the reunion, she like comes after me,

06:16which doesn't make any sense. Cause I'm not even a part of that. I wasn't even there.

06:20And so I don't even understand if that was like misplaced anger or what was going, or she was just

06:25lashing out and I was across from her. I have no idea what that was about, but, um, you know,

06:29so I don't really know. I don't know where our friendship is now. I feel like during the season,

06:33I was fair. And I think that's what you should be as a housewife. I don't, I'm not one of those

06:38housewives that just is friends with Tamara. So I just always agree with Tamara. You know,

06:43I feel like I was fair in every situation. If I thought Gretchen was out of line, I said Gretchen

06:47was out of line. If I felt Tamara was out of line, I said Tamara was out of line. And I feel like there

06:52were a lot of times when it was one or the other, it wasn't strictly always Tamara and it wasn't always

06:57Gretchen. It was both of them. And I think all of us felt like we were just kind of caught in the

07:02middle and the crossfire of those two. So my takeaway was I felt like I was being fair to both

07:08of them. I imagine the reunion must've been tense between everything going on with Tamara. And then

07:12we also have Katie coming back for the first time. I mean, it's been many episodes since we've seen

07:16her. Is there anything else you can tease about what fans are going to see over the course of these

07:20next few episodes? You know, I don't know. I just, I feel like for the fans, um, you know,

07:25the information about Gretchen and the screenshot and all of that, and then Gretchen obviously

07:29does her own research or forensics or whatever, and brings that, you know, for me, it's just

07:35interesting to see where that lands with the fans, you know, and what they think, what they feel,

07:39what their takeaway is. This is the first time I've really, I'm really interested in seeing what

07:45their takeaway is. I was saying this earlier, but you know, for me, there was never any smoking gun

07:51that just like proved one way or the other. You know what I mean? Like I can argue both sides.

07:56So at the end of the day, I still don't know exactly, you know, but I just feel like I've known

08:03Gretchen for 10 years. And I think that, I think that she speaks well to the situation. So for me,

08:09that was very convincing of her heart and what she actually feels. So I feel comfortable, you know,

08:14being friends with her and continuing a friendship. So, you know, but it'll be interesting to see

08:19what the, what the fans think.
