00:05Housewives of Potomac how do you feel? Sometimes I'm at a loss for words to

00:11think that I've been on this journey for 10 whole years when I actually take a

00:16step back and think about the fact that I'm in a completely different decade of

00:20my life I started at 26 you know with my really curly natural fro humping

00:25Robin's leg on a rooftop and now here I am 11 years later a mom of two amazing

00:29sons divorce living in my own home doing life on my own terms and sharing it

00:35with at least Giselle for every step of the way over these last 10 years it's

00:39really incredible to think I know we're missing an OG this season and this was

00:43the first season without Karen you know what did you miss most about filming with

00:47her honestly I just miss having my sparring partner that Karen wasn't there

00:51um you know she always likes to give a little snide remark every now and again

00:55and I love it you know it just gives me an opportunity to rise to the occasion

00:59she keeps me sharp on my wits so I just missed her energy really I did and there

01:04are a lot of things that happened this season that I would have loved to hear

01:07Karen's perspective on if I'm honest and have you gotten to speak to Karen

01:10recently no not in person just over text so she's alive and kicking I know that

01:16your divorce from Michael has been finalized you know what is it like to

01:20finally get the marriage behind you and move forward with co-parenting and the

01:24rest of your life it is rather bittersweet if I'm honest of course I'm thankful that

01:31I have the finality and I can finally move on with my life in the next chapter as I

01:36had my second bloom ball and celebrate with my beautiful gown and all my friends but you

01:42know the reality is that I still I still had to mourn my my marriage or the dissolution of my

01:48marriage and I finalized my divorce in February and we filmed my bloom ball in April so it was

01:55still pretty fresh to me at the time and March was especially difficult for me but definitely by the

02:01time I had the bloom ball is in a different space thankfully and I just feel like I'm ready to do life

02:07as Ashley the single woman the mom the single mom mentioning divorce you know Stacy revealed on

02:13the first episode that she's back with her husband Timu Giselle said on watch what happens that

02:18she doesn't actually ever think they were separated what was your reaction when you found

02:23out Stacy was back with her ex that wasn't shocking I don't think they ever got divorced I never believed

02:29the whole divorce of it all you did it I did not okay what's your take I have to agree because

02:35something told me when when Stacy first told me that she and TJ I'm sorry when Stacy first told me

02:42that she and Timu had signed the divorce papers it didn't feel quite right because she said they

02:48got the papers on Christmas Day and I was like okay okay she's like we're in the beach in Mexico

02:54on Christmas Day so it didn't feel right to me then and then something made me like start doing a

03:00little bit more digging and I'm like why isn't your divorce a public record mine is everybody and their

03:04mama can find mine why can't I see yours so it was very suspicious during your confrontation with

03:10Stacy at the second bloom ball she calls you a little imp and a messy devil are those the two

03:30corniest names you've ever been called I have to say throwing shade is not one of Stacy's strong points

03:37okay an imp a devil like the influence kind of funny but devil like that's not even original

03:42I've been called a snake and a devil so many times on this show like come up with something else get

03:47fresh give me something better were you surprised that it s she escalated it so much at your party

03:53what should have been a simple conversation turned into an event um I think Stacy was feeling very

04:00insecure because she knows she was being called out and as you know when people get backed into a corner

04:05they just start swinging harder faster and that's exactly what Stacy was doing which in my opinion

04:10is an admission of her of her guilt and her lack of accountability let's talk about the uh Potomac

04:15newbies this season okay yes we have Tia Glover and Angel Massey who would get your rookie of the year title

04:22and why I would definitely give my rookie of the year title to Tia because Tia did a very good job I think of

04:29navigating all of our strong personalities and at the same time asserting herself so even if I didn't

04:36necessarily see eye to eye with her at times I really appreciated the way that she just really

04:41stood firm in who she is another person we'll see on this season is of course Monique Samuels yes you

04:47know what were your thoughts on seeing her again I was relieved that Monique joined us again I have been

04:52asking her for a long time over these last few years for her to come back and she's always said no it's not the

04:57right time it's not the right fit for me so when the day finally came it was like oh there she is you

05:03know my partner in crime is here so it's been really great and obviously you're very close with Giselle

05:08so how are you handling that dynamic between Monique and her um that's really not my fish to fry

05:14because Monique and Giselle have a relationship that's far outstanding of me and the reality is we've

05:21all known each other the same amount of time Giselle has known Monique as long as I have it's just that I

05:25have a closer relationship with her but I have to respect the fact that she and Monique Giselle

05:30Monique also have their own relationship so they have to figure that out you do a great Stacey impression

05:36this episode same thing she was like Ashley you think I would really do that and what did you say

05:42yeah what is the key to getting her so right Stacey is from the Midwest so anyone that you know

05:52who's from the Midwest and they like they draw out the A's and they I can't even like okay so she

05:59calls me Ashley Ashley Darby don't see that about me it's just a very like nasally drawn out of the

06:07vowels I always say it's like Bobby's mom on Bobby's World we love seeing you on Bravo's Love Hotel how do

06:15you look back at the experience now I look back so fondly on my time at Love Hotel I just I love

06:21the guys Ralph was actually here in New York today he's doing some work here so we may grab a drink

06:27together later purely platonically and you know they're just it was it was a very essential part I think

06:33of my venturing into singlehood because it was right before I did finalize my divorce and to be with my girls

06:41Giselle and Shannon and Luann and let me tell you Luann taught me quite a few things in three weeks

06:47okay um the countess is an incredible tutor and I just like I I think that those women were like

06:55mentors almost to me as I was embarking on that single journey if you had to pick one reality tv show

07:02to compete on traders or dancing with the stars which one would it be and why oh I thought you were

07:08going to say special forces I'm trying to get on special forces um I would definitely say dancing

07:14with the stars I love it so much and yeah I think I'd kick ass on that show tell me why you want to go

07:21in special forces oh man I am an adrenaline junkie and just the thought of it being in there doing all

07:28that nitty gritty stuff the only thing I'd have to work on as I'm watching the episodes is holding my breath

07:34like water and I we don't mesh but I'm going to start perfecting that now just in case the call comes
