Timelapse shows moon disappearing into darkness during lunar eclipse

Dora shared this timelapse of a lunar eclipse.

''It was taken during the lunar eclipse using my iPhone and standing on my balcony,'' she told WooGlobe.

The moon, once shining like a spotlight against the black velvet of the sky, suddenly decided to play hide-and-seek.

Bit by bit, its glow dimmed, slipping away until it vanished completely, leaving the night looking as if the moon had never even existed.
