00:00Have you ever seen the moon turn red in the sky?
00:03Because this Sunday night, Romania is in for a rare cosmic show.
00:07A total lunar eclipse will light up the night between September 7th and 8th.
00:11And it's not just any eclipse.
00:12It's Romania's only total lunar eclipse of 2025.
00:16At exactly 20-30 local time, the moon will slip completely into Earth's shadow.
00:21And as it does, it transforms.
00:24From its usual glowing white, to a haunting deep red glow,
00:27this magical moment, called totality, lasts a full hour and 22 minutes.
00:33Look east around 21-0.
00:34You'll see the moon at its peak.
00:36And just beside it, Saturn, shining like a cosmic companion.
00:40The eclipse begins before moonrise at 1828.
00:44But in Bucharest, you'll first see it at 1937, already partially darkened.
00:49By 21-52, totality ends.
00:51And by 23-55, the moon is back to normal.
00:54So mark your calendar, step outside, and look up.
00:57Because this celestial moment won't return until August 2026.
