00:00first of all let me say that the look of your character inside the movie so your look is

00:12terrific i mean did you have fun to play this charismatic eccentric character yeah sure it

00:21was it was a you know he's you know in real life he's out there you know the way he looks the way

00:27carries himself the way he speaks and um you know i know that not too many people know who he is but

00:33i felt that this movie was so um authentically told and there was so much truth to it i really

00:38wanted to play him for real and uh you wouldn't believe it but if you knew the man in real life

00:43this was like a tamer version of him you know he's he's wild wow did you take anything away as a

00:51souvenir from the set uh a lot of socks i love my high socks so i took a lot of those

00:58and uh and and i i learned a lot of uh tennis skills you know i i can play the game now so

01:04i definitely took that away

01:05i think the thing that that was most surprising for me before i decided that i absolutely had

01:18to tell this story was that richard had prophesized everything uh he had been watching a tennis match

01:26two years before the girls were born richard wrote out plans for their entire careers and he actually

01:36went uh to his wife oracine and you know as a as a prophecy and a dream that

01:47uh he was saying that they had to have these two kids that were going to be the number one and

01:54number two tennis players of all time and it was you know i was like wait that can't be true

02:01and then went back and and did the research and it is just such a powerful story of belief
