In his victory speech, Lindsay Whittle paid tribute to Hefin Wyn David, who had served as Member of the Senedd for Caerphilly since 2016, and died in August. Mr Whittle said: “I’ve spent my whole life fighting for this community, and I won’t stop now.” Report by Gluszczykm. I've been absolutely heartened by the number of young people who've been involved in this campaign, a lot of them are standing to my right here, but across the entire constituency, people not interested in politics have been, I've had selfies taken before, I've never had this.
