00:00I'm not shying away from the disappointment that we feel that everybody feels today, but it is also about listening to the message that voters were giving us.
00:11Now, we've already made a really significant start on change here in Wales, the largest single financial settlement to the Welsh Government in the history of devolution.
00:21That is starting now to feed through in waiting lists coming down in the Welsh NHS, but it's also an example of where we need that money as soon as possible at the front line so that people can see the difference that it is making when they're going along to our National Health Service.
00:40So it is about, yes, things we've already done, like freezing the fuel duty cut, increasing the national minimum wage and national living wage, work we're doing on coal tip safety, hugely important in the South Wales Valley.
00:51But we know that people out there are facing cost of living pressures. They want to see their public services improved.
00:58That's absolutely the message we take from this by-election between now and the Senate elections in May, and indeed the local elections in Wales in 2027, by deed as well as word, we'll be seeking to show that change to Welsh people.
