00:11Robert Irwin just revealed his dream role,

00:13playing his father, the late Steve Irwin, in a Broadway show.

00:17In an interview with Parade, following the Tuesday,

00:20October 21st episode of Dancing with the Stars,

00:23the wildlife conservationist discussed a potential musical theater career

00:27after wowing fans with his jazz routine

00:29to Dancing Through Life

00:31for the show's Wicked Night.

00:34Broadway, I'm coming for you,

00:36he said alongside his professional dance partner, Whitney Carson.

00:40Whitney, you've created a Broadway guy.

00:43Carson then joked that Robert may need to work on his singing skills

00:46before making his Broadway debut.

00:48You haven't heard me really sing, though?

00:49Robert responded, to which Carson replied,

00:52Okay, well, let's hear it.

00:54Later, he quipped,

00:55The 21-year-old was then asked

00:57if he would ever consider playing his father on stage.

01:03I never thought about that, he said excitedly.

01:05I mean, bring the spirit of wildlife conservation.

01:08It's the stage.

01:09Carson called the idea incredible,

01:11while Robert joked he was having an epiphany.

01:14Just thinking about it,

01:15even imagining the cast dressed in bedazzled khaki uniforms.

01:19Steve Irwin was an Australian zookeeper

01:21and wildlife conservationist,

01:23who first became famous for his television show,

01:25Crocodile Hunter.

01:26He died on September 4, 2006,

01:29after being attacked by a stingray

01:30while filming an underwater documentary.

01:33Robert was only two years old at the time.

01:35In an interview with People in September,

01:38Robert reflected on keeping his late father's legacy alive.

01:41He's still part of every day.

01:43He's part of every conversation.

01:45He's part of my life, he said.

01:47I feel as though I get a little part of him back in some way.

01:50In every conversation I have about him,

01:52or any new story I hear about him,

01:53or in any new photo that I haven't seen before.

01:56For last week's dedication night,

01:57Robert dedicated his performance to his mother,

01:59Terry Irwin,

02:00who raised him and older sister, Bindi Irwin,

02:02as a single mother following Steve's death.

02:05For their Wicked Night performance,

02:07Robert and Carson scored a 36 fortieths,

02:09the third highest score of the night.

02:12The fan-favorite couple advanced to the seventh week of competition,

02:16where the pair will perform a brand new dance for Halloween night,

02:20Dancing with the Stars Ayers,

02:22live on Tuesdays at 8pm ETPT on ABC and Disney+,
