00:08My beloved brother, the soap icon, wrote in the emotional tribute.

00:13Days of Our Lives fan favorite Lauren Caslow,

00:16Kate is mourning the loss of her brother following his death earlier this year.

00:21The soap legend used social media to reveal her heartbreaking news via Instagram.

00:26She shared a tribute to her brother Donald Acaslow,

00:28which included the poem Don't Hesitate by Mary Oliver.

00:32Caslow's Instagram post featured several photos including throwbacks of the two of them as kids,

00:37along with pictures of them together throughout the years.

00:40I will miss you forever and a day, my beloved brother.

00:44The world is a lesser place without you.

00:46No one could make me laugh like you.

00:47No one understood like you.

00:49Till we meet again.

00:52The poem drives home the message promised by its title, Don't Hesitate.

00:56If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don't hesitate.

01:03There are plenty of lives in whole towns destroyed or about to be.

01:07We are not wise and not very often kind.

01:10And much can never be redeemed.

01:11Still, life has some possibility left, the poem began.

01:16The powerful and healing words continued.

01:20Perhaps this is its way of fighting back.

01:23That sometimes something happens better than all the riches or power in the world.

01:28It could be anything, but very likely you notice it in the instant when love begins.

01:33Anyway, that's often the case.

01:34Anyway, whatever it is, don't be afraid of its plenty.

01:38Joy is not made to be a crumb.

01:40Koslow was showered with love in the comments section of her post, particularly by her soap family.

01:47Days of Our Lives stars flooded the post with words of condolence for their co-star.

02:25Many fans also chimed in to express their sympathy following Koslow's massive loss.

02:30According to the online obituary for Donald,

02:33he died suddenly in February at the age of 69.

02:36He survived by his wife of 45 years.

02:40Shao Ying, his daughter Jennifer, his son Donald, and his three grandchildren,

02:44as well as Lauren and their sister Linda.

02:46The obituary revealed that a celebration of life for Donald would take place sometime this year.

02:52Which may have been what prompted Koslow to pay tribute to him on social media.
