00:00Yeah, I was told yesterday that I'm the 8th director on the Planet of the Apes movies of this franchise, you know, so that's pretty cool.

00:07Yeah, I have a lot of love and respect for these movies, all the way from the 68 version, which I kind of grew up watching,

00:13and of course the last trilogy, the Caesar trilogy, and what Rupert and Matt Reeves kind of created.

00:19And so, yeah, there was a lot of nerves, I guess, following up.

00:24There's big shoes to fill, but we tried our hardest to do our own thing, to be a new chapter in this long legacy of movies,

00:31but still kind of honor what came before and essentially pay respects to sort of what's coming,

00:38which is the 68 version on the horizon of our storyline, you know.
