00:01:12First of all personal we need to have the personal prayer
00:01:17Second we need to have the secret contact with our father in secret
00:01:27And also we need to have secret and hidden enjoyment of the father
00:01:32We hope that with this message our personal prayer life can be established
00:01:37So that we can have some secret enjoyment of the father
00:01:41Of the nine messages in this training
00:01:45We have two which are on prayer
00:01:49And both of these messages are based on the Lord's teaching
00:01:55In Matthew chapter 6
00:01:57This shows us that in order to live in the reality of the kingdom life
00:02:02In Matthew 5 through 7
00:02:04To prepare for the manifestation of the kingdom
00:02:07The building up of the prayer life is very important

00:02:15We need to have a proper prayer
00:02:17What is the proper prayer?
00:02:19The proper prayer is the prayer that expresses God's will
00:02:22The proper prayer is to pray toward God's interest
00:02:28The proper prayer is to pray ourselves into God
00:02:32Then in this upcoming message
00:02:36We need to see that not only should we have the prayer life
00:02:40Even more we need to have the personal private prayer
00:02:45In Matthew 6, 6
00:02:48The Lord says when you pray
00:02:51Enter into your private room
00:02:53And shut your door
00:02:55And pray to your father who is in secret
00:02:59So in this verse

00:03:38We will have some personal prayer
00:03:40But I think we need to admit
00:03:42Especially for us brothers
00:03:45Those of us who have been serving the Lord for many years
00:03:50Actually our shortage
00:03:53Is very much in the hidden private prayer
00:03:58Something that only the Lord and us know

00:04:18Living the kingdom life by living a hidden life
00:04:24When we come to this message
00:04:27It seems it is so similar to the message last year
00:04:32Why is it that the brothers would again and again emphasize this burden?
00:04:38I do believe many of us brothers here in the past year
00:04:42Or you may be there in the last intro
00:04:45Or you might have watched the message in video
00:04:48Or you might have studied the Holy Word for morning revival on that message
00:04:53We have been into that message
00:04:55And we have had a lot of inspiration from that message
00:05:02But the question is
00:05:04Has that message caused us to be strengthened and to have made some improvement or progress in our prayer life?
00:05:11Before you did not have the personal prayer
00:05:14Now you have built that up
00:05:16In the past you did not have the persistent prayer
00:05:19Now you have built up a prayer in a more persistent way
00:05:23I don't know what your answer is
00:05:25All of us we treasure the lost speaking in the seven feasts
00:05:31In the lost recovery
00:05:32We appreciate all of these speakings
00:05:35But message after message
00:05:37How much of that word has been wrought into us
00:05:41How much of the truth and revelation been constituted into us
00:05:45In our Christian life and our Christian service
00:05:49How much progress improvement have we had
00:05:53Brothers have you been bothered by this question
00:05:58Or by your own condition
00:06:00I do
00:06:02But I have been encouraged by Brother Lee speaking in that book
00:06:07Enjoying Christ as the Word and the Spirit through prayer
00:06:10Chapter 2
00:06:12I was again enlightened by the Lord concerning the personal prayer
00:06:17Brother Lee says
00:06:19The only way to receive the word as a spirit is by prayer
00:06:23Regardless of how deeply we have received the word
00:06:26It will not be life to us until we have adequate prayer
00:06:31A person may hear the gospel
00:06:35And be very deeply inspired and moved by the Holy Spirit
00:06:40However if this person does not pray
00:06:43He still cannot be saved
00:06:45Regardless of how deeply this person is inspired
00:06:49He still needs to pray
00:06:51This is the principle
00:06:52Many times we have been inspired by the good message
00:06:56But we have neglected to pray
00:06:58Therefore after a short time
00:07:00The inspiration is gone
00:07:02Isn't this our experience?
00:07:05In order to keep the message that we have heard
00:07:08And been inspired by
00:07:10We must immediately pray the message into our spirit
00:07:14Then this message will be sown into our spirit
00:07:19And mingled with our spirit by our prayer
00:07:23To pray makes a very big difference
00:07:27I do believe that in our experience
00:07:31To pray or not to pray make a very big difference
00:07:35Brother Lee continues
00:07:37We have suffered too much simply because we have neglected this principle
00:07:42In reading, listening and fellowshipping
00:07:45We have come to know many things
00:07:47And we have been truly inspired
00:07:49But we have neglected to pray
00:07:51Therefore what we have heard
00:07:53And that which has inspired us quickly disappear
00:07:57Gradually however we keep the knowledge in our mentality
00:08:01As a result we have much knowledge
00:08:04But not enough growth in life
00:08:07So brother Lee pointed out
00:08:11The reason that we do not have the growth in life
00:08:13Not because we don't have the word
00:08:15Not that we don't have the knowledge
00:08:17Rather it is because we lack the proper prayer
00:08:20So brother Lee encouraged us to read the lost word
00:08:23But even more we need to pray
00:08:26He said if you read the word for 10 minutes
00:08:29You need to pray for 20 minutes
00:08:31Such a prayer is not to pray for affairs
00:08:36Business, husbands and wives
00:08:38School, jobs or even for help
00:08:40This is simply to pray about what we read
00:08:43And to pray with what we read
00:08:45In order to contact the Lord
00:08:47We all need to have this kind of prayer

00:09:20Because I saw some patterns of some brothers

00:09:26I heard some message
00:09:28After I read the lost word
00:09:31I would spend time to digest
00:09:34What I just heard or read
00:09:37It is only in prayer
00:09:40That I digest the word
00:09:43And I receive the enlightenment
00:09:45From the Lord
00:09:47I was exposed by the Lord
00:09:48So that the Lord would deal
00:09:50With anything improper in me
00:09:53Anything improper in my service
