00:00There has been a lot of Jaden Daniels, Robert Griffin III comparisons.

00:04I think they're baseless.

00:06Bea and I have said that for some time.

00:08It kind of hit a new level when Jaden Daniels' mom, Regina Jackson,

00:12tweeted on Sunday night, I believe,

00:14please stop comparing my son with RG3.

00:17Please stop trying to manifest his career for this.

00:20You wrote just a tremendous column explaining how different these people are

00:26and that collectively everybody's got to chill TF out with these comps.

00:31And I'd love to just see what inspired you to write it

00:35and kind of how you got there.

00:37Well, I mean, even going back to last year, everybody was thinking that,

00:43oh, hey, this is RG3, very similar.

00:46And look, I know, okay, they're both black, they're both fat,

00:49they both have braids, they both won the Heisman,

00:51they both have a little parent.

00:52They both helped infuse the franchise of life.

00:55But, like, other than mobility, like, even their mobility is different.

00:59Like, they run different.

01:00It's not the same thing.

01:02And then this year, as he's gotten hurt here and there,

01:07the fear and the, oh, no, like, and the angst,

01:10and I was thinking it and just, you know,

01:13I go to Twitter and see what fans are thinking,

01:15and then all of a sudden popped up, I saw his mom's tweet,

01:18and I'm like, good Lord, like, you know,

01:20this is getting really loud that Mama Bear is having to say,

01:25please stop.

01:26And so I don't think a lot of people remember that Robert Griffin III's career,

01:34that era didn't crash and burn because he tore his ACL.

01:38Because Joe Burrow tore his ACL and came back and led his team to the Super Bowl.

01:42There have been other quarterbacks that have devastating injuries,

01:45and they come back and they're okay.

01:47Other players.

01:48There was so much going on in this organization,

01:50so much dissension, so much turmoil, so much dysfunction,

01:55and that's why his situation never panned out.
