Watch this video of a kitchen disaster when an instant pot malfunction leads the entire kitchen to be covered in chilli Rebecca Reynolds, a rehab exercise trainer, found herself in the middle of a kitchen disaster when her Instant Pot full of chili suddenly erupted. Rebecca said she caught the tail end of the event after hearing a loud release from another room. When she walked in, chili was spraying everywhere out of the pot coating the ceiling, kitchen island, chop saw, and floor in red liquid. Rebecca said “It appears the pressure release or safety pin mechanism had failed, causing the dramatic burst. Rebecca later shared the aftermath online, joking that it looked like a “crime scene in the kitchen.” A user on Instagram commented: “Hahahaha!” Another Added: “I may be uneducated, but do people really cook chili in their pressure cooker?”
