When life hits hard, the feeling can be frightening; troubles and stress can drive your thoughts too far. You can feel like you're drowning within the pool and struggling to swim out. That is the moral of this poem. I made this video following a poem I published on Vocal Media.

Transcript
00:00I've been swimming in the pool of despair, struggling just to keep my head above the water.
00:07Darkness surrounds me, every step I take is like wandering blind in an endless night.
00:14Nothing makes sense anymore. I'm feeling utterly puzzled, searching for a sign.
00:23Sometimes I feel like I've drowned forever in my own silent tears, with no one to pull me out.
00:30I've tried, truly tried, so many times to discover who I really am beneath the pain.
00:39Each failed attempt leaves me feeling like my mind is shattered into pieces I can't pick up.
00:46Again, I find myself swimming in the pool of despair, where hope seems to be far away.
00:52It's as if, I'm stuck deep underwater, I can't breathe, the weight of depression and sadness is pressing my chest.
01:03Above me, a dark cloud lingers, threatening to eclipse even the faintest light in my soul.
01:10My thoughts scatter like feathers in a storm.
01:15I am broken within, lost in longing.
01:19I look in the mirror and see only a shadow.
01:22My mind, once vibrant, seems invisible now.
01:29Questions spin around me endlessly.
01:32Why am I here?
01:34Who am I supposed to be?
01:36The answers never come, leaving echoes of emptiness inside.
01:43And yet, a stubborn faith quietly glimmers, urging me not to let go.
01:51Despite the darkness, a small hope grows within.
01:55Maybe, just maybe, I could see the light.
01:58Nonetheless, I promised myself, that I will rise and strive for a better version of me.
