00:00I've been asked a few times about how to add a leading zeros on your Excel
00:03spreadsheet number here. Basically there's two ways to do it. First way is
00:06to put a foster free, let's say I want a six digit number, so I'm gonna put three
00:11zeros here and basically call like that. This is gonna throw you an error. You're
00:15gonna click on this cell, go here warning and ignore error here. I'm just gonna
00:19align it to the right here to make it look like a number. The second technique
00:23is to select the cell that you want, press ctrl 1 and this will open up the
00:27cell formatting here. Go to number, custom and basically gonna type six zeros here
00:311, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 like this and after that click OK. Now anytime if you enter a
00:35number here, let's say 2, 4, 6, you see that there's leading zeros in here. Now
00:40the question comes is this, can you add these two numbers together? I'm gonna
00:44ignore the error on this one here and basically try to add this plus this. You
00:51can see it does really work actually on this leading zero number here and what
00:55about this one here and this one works as well.
