00:23in terms of result and also quality and the strengths of my opponents.

00:29So in the next five rounds, I played Vichy Anand, Anatoly Karpov,

00:33Boris Gelfand, Alexei Shirov, and Gatakomsky

00:37and made four and a half out of five.

00:39That was quite an accomplishment.

00:41Also, I love this game.

00:43And it started with this victory.

00:46And what happened is it's an attack in the center.

00:52It's both attraction and deflection because it creates problems for black.

01:02So if they take on e5, then I take on f7, discovered attack, black takes,

01:10and then rook d8, check, and it's a pin, absolute pin.

01:14So that's why black has no way but to move the king and then attack the rook.

01:18So that's one of the important tactical themes.

01:22Actually, there's many more than one, but it's one line that shows how many teams you can combine

01:28by gaining advantage.

01:30So after e5, black played, queen f5.

01:35So now we take, black takes, and now I move on, e6.

01:42So black rook is attacked.

01:45So taking this pawn is on an option because then bishop e6 check and I win the rook.

01:50So issue went on d8.

01:53And here I could probably have a good position even simpler after taking one on f7,

01:58but I wanted more.
