01:13Today on Beyond the Headlines, we turn our attention once again to the ongoing controversy surrounding Azela Properties, a Cebu-based developer now facing multiple complaints over undelivered housing units and unrefunded payments.
01:31For several months, we've been following the growing number of homebuyers claiming they've paid for homes that were never built.
01:40Many are still waiting for updates and for the developer to fulfill promises of either delivery or refund.
01:47We'd like to remind the public that we have reached out to Engineer Lloyd Adlawan several times.
01:53And I think, yes, last week was the second week that he promised to come here but postpone again for this week.
02:01He initially contacted Sunstar Cebu and promised to appear on its program on two weeks already, October 8 and October 17, last Friday, but did not show up citing health reasons.
02:15Of course, we would like to respect that.
02:17But I think we have given Engineer Adlawan enough time to explain this side of the case.
02:24But now we cannot stop this, the homebuyers DJ to be here with us.

07:49They deserve that kind of justice, accountability, because we have visited the government agencies that have jurisdiction over this case.
08:01First off, we went to report to the Minglanile Police,
08:07filled out blotter sheets and forms for the large-scale estafa complaint.
08:15However, we were told,
08:17we were told that we just called me for our affidavits, the calls which never came.
08:24And the affidavits which were never executed because
08:26in our follow-up, in fact, Sir Ford is here with us,
08:30has followed up three times, and nothing substantial has been done.
08:35We have gone to the National Bureau of Investigation
