00:40We'll run, we'll run like a river
00:43There's something inside
00:48That creates the artificial light
00:53There's something inside
00:55That creates the blue and yellow light
00:58I don't want it
01:01European

01:37And we're one to belong
01:39To belong to the road and the rails
01:41To belong to the river
01:44Where the soldiers and the civilians
01:49Well, the flesh might die
01:52But our love will survive
01:54When you're by my side
01:56Well, death
01:57Shall have no to me
01:59There's something inside
02:02There's something inside
02:03That creates the simulated light
02:06There's something inside
02:11That life's what I've been so light
02:13I want it, you're in pain
02:15I want it, you're in pain
02:20In the end, Europeans suffering in me, dancing with the Europeans, I got the Europeans to
02:34stay with in the end, Europeans suffering in me, I want to be, dancing with the Europeans.
02:44Dancing with the Europeans, dancing with the Europeans, dancing with the Europeans, dancing
03:11with the Europeans, ghosts, ghosts, are my ghosts.
03:23Dancing with the Europeans, dancing with the Europeans.
03:35Sounding better than ever, thank you, trade.

06:10Thank you!
06:11Thank you!
06:12Lovely, with two steps from her album Teal Dreams.
06:16Thank you, Yasmin Lacey.
06:22Now for a lovely piano side chat with the legendary Londoner,
06:27Gary Kemp.
06:31You've been working on this great new exhibition,
06:34which we'll talk about in a moment.
06:35You've also got a Spandau Valley box set released,
06:37but there's an exhibition that you have helped to curate
06:40or lend some things to in the Design Museum about the Blitz.
06:44For the uninitiated, give us the aroma of the Blitz Club.
06:47Well, the Blitz Club was 1978 to the beginning of 1980,
06:53and it was just off of Soho, Covent Garden,
06:56and it was only a Tuesday night.
06:58Basically, two guys, Steve Strange and Rusty Egan,
07:01who was playing drums in The Rich Kids before then,
07:04Rusty was the DJ, did what was called Bowie Night.
07:07And all of us freaks who were into Bowie in those days went along.
07:14But the music wasn't just Bowie.
07:16It was everything Bowie had validated.
07:18And it was electronic, it was craft work,
07:20it was German bands like Gina X, Nina Hagen,
07:25obviously Iggy Pop,
07:26and even a really early Human League record,
07:29Being Boiled, which was way ahead of the curve.
07:31Nice electronica.
07:32Electronica.
07:33People are dancing slowly.
07:34They're not dancing to high BPMs.
07:37But a lot of people who came out of that
07:39went into the 80s
07:42and were successful in the arts in some way.
07:44So it was like a sort of a little catalyst
07:46for lots of things that were going in.
07:48But it was quite hard to get in,
07:49but it wasn't about paying a lot to get in.
07:51Isn't that why you had to be wearing the right thing to be allowed in?
07:53Well, Steve Strange, who stood on the door,
07:56kind of curated it, really.
07:57It was his curation inside.
07:59And it was a lot of art school students,
08:01fashion students from St Martins,
08:03a lot of ex-Soulboys, Bowie fans like myself,
08:06people who'd been through punk
08:08but were a bit too young for it.
08:10People like Boy George.
08:12You know, young, mature, before Ultrabox.
08:14And so, yeah, you had to dress up.
08:15People were kind of...
08:16But it was a dressing-up box.
08:18It wasn't buying any expensive clothes.
08:20It was...
08:21Kids would make their own clothes.
08:22I got my mum to make me a pair of trousers
08:24that I thought were suitable.
08:25Thank goodness for mums.
08:26And didn't Barry turn up one evening?
08:29He did turn up one evening.
08:30And, of course, it was a Bowie night.
08:33But by then, it was something more than that.
08:35The word had gone on the street
08:36about the Blitz being a very exciting place to go on a Tuesday
08:38and there were cameras around.
08:40And he arrived.
08:43And a lot of people just all went with him upstairs,
08:45very excited.
08:47And I remember being downstairs with some of my band
08:49and Boy George, in fact, saying,
08:51we're not going up there, are we?
08:53He's yesterday's man.
08:55He's come to nick our ideas.
08:56He's come to nick our ideas.
08:57He said he did.
08:58He chose people to be in his Ashes for Ashes video.
09:01Presumably, it's much easier to get into the exhibition
09:04than it is to the club itself.
09:07Well, it's great.
09:07They've got a kind of Steve Strange on the door, as it were.
09:10Oh, great.
09:11What is a cardboard cutout?
09:12It's a kind of thing like that, as a picture.
09:14You're saying, no, you can't come in.
09:15It curates everything that created that place,
09:19whether it's Bowie or, you know, films like Cabaret
09:22or obsessions with Weimar Republic
09:26and all the things that we were inspired by post-punk
09:29to that moment in that club.
09:31And there's a kind of copy of the club inside it.
09:34How great.
09:34I know.
09:35And then everything that led out after that.
09:37And does it feel like being in the club when you're in that copy?
09:40I can't even remember being in the club.
09:42I don't think it was so long ago.
09:43Well, I was going to ask you about that
09:44because you've also got a box set of Spandau Ballet.
09:46First two albums.
09:47First two albums, yeah.
09:48And we've got some archive.
09:49And I think it goes from 78 to 82.
09:52And we've got some archive from right in the middle of that.
09:54I mean, can you remember anything from 1980?
09:58Do you know, this was the thing I'm the most proud of, I think.
10:01Being part of that wave of a new youth movement that was happening
10:06and coming out of Soho,
10:09being the house band of the Blitz, which we became.
10:12And the 80s were about to start.
10:14Everything was going to be colour.
10:16And magazines like The Face were going to be colour.
10:18And I think that moment in time for me,
10:20and the kind of gigs we played as well,
10:22we never played regular venues.
10:23We'd create events on battleships or, you know, in cinemas.
10:28And that to me is a much more,
10:30is a greater thing to be proud of than the big hits we had later on.
10:34Well, we've got a little clip here.
10:35Let's have a little look at To Cut A Long Story Short from 1980 on top of the pot.
10:39All right.
10:40To cut a long story short, I love my point.
10:48We all love that.
11:12Really great footage.
11:14And you're right, it's a moment in musical history.
11:17You know, it's like kind of suddenly things have become,
11:19you know, there's another whole cult thing happening.
11:21We were trying not to use anybody from,
11:24who'd already experienced, you know, successful people.
11:26So we were using graphic artists from within the club
11:29and lighting guys from within the club
11:31and obviously the clothes as well.
11:33In fact, we did take someone from within the club
11:35to help with the gear that day going into Top of the Pots,
11:38who, when they saw that it meant heavy work,
11:41just refused and stayed in the past.
11:42And is it right that now Spandau Valley have found a great new audience
11:48through streaming and through the internet
11:50and through social media and everything?
11:51Yeah, I mean, not just us, but a lot of old bands.
11:54You know, I think my son, who's 16,
11:58is finding old stuff all the time.
12:00You know, hey, Dad, have you heard of Steely Dan?
12:02You know, so I think it's all out there in the streaming world
12:06and obviously in social media.
12:07And you're not just hoping to be discovered in a crate.
12:10And it was one of the reasons we named this box set
12:13Everything Is Now,
12:14because that kind of feels how music is right now.
12:18Just the whole part.
12:19I mean, look at what's happened to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
12:22They're now one of the biggest bands in America.
12:23They haven't played together since 1971.
12:26That's it, that's the key.
12:27Don't do anything.
12:28You go huge.
12:29That's it.
12:29That's it.
12:30So now when I go to the museum,
12:32I'll listen to your box set on my headphones
12:34and hopefully I'll be wearing the right thing
12:37so they're going to let me in.
12:38Remind us where we can see it.
12:39So it's at the Design Museum,
12:41which is near Ken High Street,
12:43in Ken High Street,
12:44and it goes on till March.
12:45Right.
12:46Next year.
12:46So lots of time to go and see it.
12:48I'm looking forward to going to have a look
12:49when all the memories come flooding back.
12:50Thanks, George.
12:50Imagine you in there.
12:51Thank you very much for joining us.
12:52Gary Kemp.
12:58Next.
12:59A family band who recorded their album
13:02at their local church in Mississippi.
13:04Please welcome Annie and the Caldwells.
13:06Y'all came out to have a real good time.
13:11Let me hear you say,
13:12Yeah!
13:14I'm going to need you to put your hands together like this.
13:18Here we go.
13:19You drop.
13:23You drop.
13:28You drop.
13:28You drop.
13:32You drop.
13:35You drop a bomb on me.
13:40You drop the bomb on me.
13:44You drop the bomb on me.
13:47Say that.
13:48You try to drop the bomb on me.
13:51I will live in the world of sin.
13:57One bit to live.
13:59One bit to die.
14:01Preacher came.
14:03Told me.
14:06God will put you on your sin.
14:09I got a bridge in my head.
14:12I got a bridge in my head.
14:14That's what I found out.
14:16Yeah!
14:17Say that.
14:18You drop the bomb on me.
14:21You try to.
14:22You drop the bomb on me.
14:25Say that.
14:25Try to.
14:26You drop the bomb on me.
14:29Say that.
14:29You drop the bomb on me.
14:32Oh!
14:33I made it.
14:34I made it.
14:35I made it.
14:36I made it.
14:37I made it.
14:39I made it.
14:40I made it.
14:41I made it.
14:41To the stormy rain.
14:43I made it.
14:44Oh, there's a pain.
14:45I made it.
14:45I had to cry sometimes.
14:47I made it.
14:48I made it.
14:49I made it.
14:50You made it.
14:51You made it.
14:52You made it.
14:53You made it.
14:54You made it.
14:55You made it.
14:56You made it.
14:57You made it.
14:58We could find it.
15:00We made it.
15:00And you find mine.
15:01We made it.
15:02But joy, coming in the ball, say you dropped a bomb on me.
15:10You dropped a bomb on me, say you dropped a bomb on me.
15:18Say you tried to drop a bomb on me.
15:22I made it, I made it, I made it, I made it, I made it, I made it, I made it.
15:32Just cause you made it, I made it, I made it.
15:36Just cause you made it, I made it, I made it.
15:40Where were you made it, I made it, I made it, I made it, I made it.
15:48Tony, you made it, I made it, Tony, you made it, I made it, I made it, I made it.
15:57I'll bring your feet up, I'll bring your feet up, I'll bring your feet up off the floor.
16:27I'll bring your feet up, I'll bring your feet up, I'll bring your feet up, you've made it easier, You've made it easier.
16:46yeah
16:53yeah
16:56yeah
17:01yeah
17:06yeah
17:11I want you to say that he
17:26Oh
17:27Oh
17:27Oh
17:27Oh

17:53Yeah
18:00Yeah
18:02Wonderful
18:13Thank you
18:14Annie in the Cornwells
18:16We'll be thanking Miss Annie later
18:18Annie in the Cornwells
18:19I'm delighted to say that we have a country superstar
18:26In this room with us tonight
18:27And we welcome now
18:28Luke Combs at the piano
18:29Great to have you here
18:30Luke Combs
18:31Great to have you here
18:32So you
18:35I mean
18:36You've got billions of streams
18:38Billboard number one
18:39Billions of awards
18:40And
18:41Country music seems to be bigger
18:43Than ever
18:44And then here in the UK as well
18:45Why do you think that is now?
18:46Gosh
18:47Gosh man
18:47I don't know
18:48Your guess is as good as mine on that
18:49I'm just glad that it is
18:51You know
18:51This is
18:52I think my sixth time
18:54Over here
18:55And excited to be back
18:56And for the first time
18:57In its hundred year history
18:59The Grand Ole Opry
19:00Has come to London
19:01And for the people
19:02That don't know what it is
19:03Tell us about what the Grand Ole Opry is
19:05Grand Ole Opry is basically
19:07You know
19:07The biggest institution
19:08In country music
19:10It's the longest running radio program
19:12In the United States
19:13Basically started out as a radio show
19:16Where country artists
19:17You know
19:18Roots artists
19:19Appalachian artists
19:20Would come and
19:21Play their music over the radio
19:23Became kind of a mainstay
19:25You know
19:26Around that time
19:27In the 20's
19:28And
19:28Still running to this day
19:30Now it's a big show
19:31That happens
19:32A couple nights a week
19:33In Nashville
19:33And
19:34It's just
19:35It's a beautiful thing
19:36Yeah
19:36And it's great to bring it
19:37Around the world now
19:38Yeah
19:38Introduce people to it
19:39First time
19:40It connects with people
19:40It's very human isn't it
19:42Yes it is
19:42It is
19:43It has a host
19:44And like the show
19:45Like when you're there
19:46If you're there in person
19:47Like it is actually
19:48A live radio broadcast
19:49That's going on
19:50Obviously there's a large crowd
19:52In attendance
19:53And it sells out
19:55You know
19:55A couple years in advance
19:56And nobody even knows
19:57Who's going to be playing
19:58That particular night
19:59They just want to go
20:00And have the experience
20:01Of being there at the Opry
20:02So
20:02It's a special place for us
20:03And
20:04Excited to
20:05To bring it over here
20:05And
20:06Where does music start for you
20:07I mean
20:08Who were you listening to
20:09When you first
20:10Kind of got into music
20:11I mean
20:11Everything
20:12It started out
20:13So I grew up in North Carolina
20:14And I moved to
20:16I moved to Nashville
20:17When I was
20:1824
20:18I taught myself guitar
20:20At 21 years old
20:21I'm 35 now
20:23It's crazy
20:24It started with me
20:25Vince Gill
20:25Was probably my favorite
20:27Singer
20:27At the time
20:29When I was
20:30When I was young
20:31I just always sang
20:32It's just something
20:32I always did
20:33So I don't
20:33I
20:34Like
20:34Wanted to sing
20:35Or I just sang
20:36All the time
20:37What sort of things
20:38Did you sing
20:38Like sing songs
20:39For your mum
20:40Yeah
20:40It was like
20:41My mom
20:41And my aunts
20:42And stuff
20:42Would come over
20:43And I was like
20:44On the deck
20:45Or the porch
20:46Or whatever
20:46And they would all be like
20:47Sing us a song
20:48Lukey
20:48You know
20:49And so I would just
20:50Sing them
20:50Whatever they wanted to hear
20:52You know
20:52Anything that I'd heard
20:53On the radio
20:53And they seemed
20:55To love that
20:55And then I found
20:56I found
20:57In a choir
20:58When I was in
20:59Probably in middle school
21:00And enjoyed that
21:02So I was singing every day
21:03You know
21:04From
21:04From the time
21:05I was in
21:06You know
21:06Sixth grade
21:07Up until
21:07The time I was in college
21:08And
21:09Yeah man
21:10I just picked the guitar up
21:11And figured it out
21:11You know
21:12And what was it
21:13That drew you to
21:13Country music
21:14Do you think
21:14That was just the first thing
21:15That was my really
21:16My first experiences
21:18With music
21:18You know
21:19When I was
21:19When I was younger
21:20Riding around in the car
21:20With my mom
21:21She was always listening
21:22To country
21:22And that was just
21:23The
21:24A lot of my first memories
21:25Of music
21:26Were listening to country music
21:27So it was kind of
21:28The music that I grew up on
21:29I got away from it
21:30For a long time
21:31When I was in high school
21:32And at the beginning
21:33Of college
21:34And I found my way
21:35Back to it
21:36Around the time
21:36I was probably
21:3719 years old
21:38Is it right
21:39I was told
21:40That you were working
21:40In a bar
21:41As a bouncer
21:42And you said
21:43Can you give us a gig
21:43And they said
21:44Well no we don't
21:44We don't think so
21:45So you then
21:46Worked over the road
21:47Yeah so I was
21:48Working at a bar
21:50As a bouncer
21:51In college
21:51And they never had
21:53Any music in there
21:54I had just started
21:54Playing guitar
21:55I'd been singing forever
21:56But I asked my boss
21:58If I could play a show
21:59And he was like
21:59Well no
22:00We don't have shows
22:01Because there's apartments
22:02There was apartments
22:03Upstairs above the bar
22:04There were seven apartments
22:05I actually lived in
22:06One of those apartments
22:07And I told him
22:08I was like
22:08Hey if you let me
22:09Do a show
22:10Nobody's going to
22:11Call the landlord
22:11Because everyone's
22:12Going to be down here
22:13At the show
22:13Because we all
22:14Know each other
22:15And he said no
22:16So I went across the street
22:17My first show
22:19My first show ever
22:19Had 200 folks
22:20Come from
22:21You know people
22:22That I knew
22:22From college
22:23And stuff
22:23And I came back
22:25To work the next day
22:26I was like
22:26Hey man
22:26I brought 200 people
22:27Across the street
22:28I could bring them
22:29Over here if you want
22:29And he changed his tune
22:31Pretty quick
22:31Right exactly
22:32No problem about
22:32The people in the flats
22:33Come on in
22:33Yeah so
22:34That worked out
22:35Yeah
22:36That's great
22:36Now you're going to
22:37Be performing for us
22:38In a moment
22:38What are you going to sing for
22:39I'm going to do
22:39A little acoustic song
22:41Called Days Like These
22:42Song I wrote
22:43A few years ago
22:43At the house
22:44And had just had
22:46We just had our first son
22:48Me and my wife
22:48And it was just kind of
22:50We had one of those
22:51Like beautiful days
22:52That you know
22:53Don't come around
22:54Often enough
22:54And that's what
22:56This little tune's about
22:57So I'm excited to play it for you
22:57How great to celebrate
22:59One great day in a song
23:00What a great thing to do
23:02Yeah
23:02I know somebody
23:03That has put things
23:04At little signs
23:05In their garden
23:05If they had a nice sunset
23:06To remember it
23:07Just
23:07Oh yeah
23:08To commemorate it with a song
23:09What a great thing
23:09I'm going to enjoy the song
23:10All the more
23:11I think we all
23:11Yeah it'll be fun
23:12Yeah
23:12Thank you very much
23:13For joining us
23:14Luke Combs
23:14Thank you
23:15Yes sir
23:15A great fellow
23:17Good forward to hearing that
23:22Now
23:23The concept
23:24Of needing to write songs
23:26Or create art
23:26As a means of survival
23:28Not just as a means
23:28Of expression
23:29Is the trust
23:30Of this song
23:31By this next
23:32Excellent band
23:33Please welcome
23:34Sprints
23:36Thank you
23:50Thank you
27:29Cause on days like this, when the sun shines bright, I feel like it's all gonna be alright.
27:43When the sky is blue and the grass is green, how much better can it be?
27:55Cause I got you, you got me, we got everything we need, sea bunny, it grew on trees, the money came by days like this.
28:19They don't come around as much as they ought to, so come on when they do.
28:35So those days like this, they don't get poor guys, if you think it through, they're all we got.
28:49When the sky is blue and the grass is green, how much better can it be?
29:02If I got you, you got me, we got everything we need.
29:16And even if it grew on trees, the money came by days like this.
29:25When the sky is blue and the grass is green, how much better can it be?
29:51If I got you, you got me, we got everything we need.
30:05But even if it grew on trees, hell, I'd probably miss the leaf.
30:15But money came by days like this.
30:19And all money came by days like these.
30:24Excellent.
30:36You're wonderful.
30:37Luke Crone.
30:38And don't forget you can watch Luke and all of the other artists, great country stars on the special Grand Ole Opry show on BBC iPlayer.
30:50Come to that, you can watch a lot of these shows on BBC iPlayer if you go up there.
30:54So it's all there to enjoy.
30:56And now, also to enjoy, and welcome at the piano for chat, is the wonderful Miss Annie Caldwell.
31:02God bless you.
31:04Lovely to see you.
31:05You too.
31:06Thank you so much for coming on the show.
31:10And you've got your family, which is your band.
31:13Yes, sir.
31:14Yeah, which is, as God gives it a great sound.
31:17Blood harmonies and everything, it sounds lovely.
31:20Where does music start for you, Miss Annie?
31:21What's the first music you heard, do you think?
31:23The first music started for my mother and my father.
31:26My daddy was a singer.
31:27And that's where our first music came from.
31:30And what sort of things did he sing?
31:32He was gospel.
31:33He was a gospel singer.
31:35And he had a group of a gospel singers.
31:38And what was his name, and what were they called?
31:40Jimmy Brown.
31:41We called them both.
31:43And it's a remarkable story, because this really, I mean, you've done albums before with other groups, but this is your family group.
31:49It's your first album together.
31:51And David Byrne, from Talking Heads, is involved.
31:54How does that work?
31:55Mr. David Byrne, I thank God for him, because he found me a few years ago.
31:59And he told me that I was going to be working with a man called Yale.
32:04And ever since then, they've been carrying us on and on.
32:08I thank God for him.
32:09And where did you record the album?
32:11We recorded it in a little church called the street from my house at the Michigan Center.
32:16And we went in there and caught the album, and the spirit was so high.
32:21And it was just floating to, we just felt like, just giving God the praise.
32:27Feel the joy and the spirit of it, it'll come to life.
32:29Right.
32:30Yeah, yeah.
32:31And that's the right part.
32:32So tell us who have you got, who have you got in your, oh actually, now I should say it's amazing, because after this album you've been touring in Japan,
32:38America, Brazil, you're here now.
32:40That's a great achievement after a long time.
32:43It's a great example to people to keep going.
32:45Yes.
32:46Thank you so much.
32:47And in this album I have my two daughters.
32:50Yes.
32:51My daughter Deborah Caldwell.
32:53Yeah.
32:54Also my daughter and Jessica Caldwell.
32:56Yeah.
32:57I have my daughter Tony.
32:58Yeah.
32:59I have my son Abel Caldwell on the drum, and my son Willie Caldwell Jr. on the bass.
33:04Right.
33:05And also my husband on the guitar.
33:07Great.
33:08There's a marvelous band over there, great sounding band.
33:11Shall we invite the wonderful daughters over here?
33:12Yes.
33:13Come over, ladies, please.
33:14More of the Caldwells.
33:16Now Alma, you were talking about gospel music earlier, and this song, Mary Don't You Weep, when did you first hear this one?
33:28Well, I heard this song on a porch.
33:31Me and my girl was out there after, and there was a moment of song, Oh Mary Don't You Weep.
33:36And that's what I heard, and so we started singing it, and also the neighbors came around, and that's how the song got started.
33:43Yeah.
33:44It's a great song from the golden age of it.
33:45Yeah.
33:46Let's give it a go, shall we?
33:47Here we go.
33:48A song, Mary Don't You Weep, when we got made, and this song was on your head.
33:49Well, I'm singing, Mary, Oh Mary Don't You Weep.

33:52Tell Mother Don't You Weep.
33:53Well, I'm singing, Mary.

33:58Tell mother don't moan.
34:00Mother, don't you moan.
34:02Oh, Mary.
34:04Oh, Mary, don't you hear.
34:06Yes, mother don't moan.
34:08Mother, don't you moan.
34:10Hero's army.
34:12Hero's army.
34:14Get drowned.
34:16Drowning in the sea.
34:18Mary.
34:20Oh, Mary, don't you hear.
34:22Oh, Mary, don't you moan.
34:24Oh, if I could.
34:26If I could.
34:28I surely would.
34:30Surely would.
34:32I would stand.
34:34Standing on the rock.
34:36Like mother Moses stood.
34:38Moses stood.
34:40Pharaoh's army.
34:42Pharaoh's army.
34:44Drowning in the sea.
34:46Mary.
34:48Oh, Mary, don't you hear.
34:50Oh, Mary.
34:51Oh, Mary.
34:52Don't you hear.
34:54Girls.
34:55Don't you hear.
34:56Oh, Mary.
34:57Don't you hear.
34:58Have me to call.
34:59Oh, Mary.
35:00Don't you.
35:01Oh, hea, ooo
35:03M array.
35:04Mary, oo seniy.
35:06Oh, Mary.
35:07Don't you hear.
35:09Oh, Mary.
35:10Oh, Mary.
35:11Don't you hear.
35:12I'll come see my face.
35:13Oh, Mary.
35:14Don't you hear.
35:15Oh, Mary one more time.
35:17Oh, Mary don't you...
35:20Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no...
35:22Mary, Mary.

38:39Ain't I good for you
38:43On that sweet, that salt, that taste
38:46That made your life better
38:47Ain't I good for you
38:50Ain't I good for you
38:59From her new album, Teal the Dreams
39:01Thank you, Yasmin Lacey
39:03Thank you to all my wonderful guests this evening
39:07And they have all been wonderful
39:08Let's finish with the superb suede
39:20Take it on us and slow
39:32Like those endless hot summers
39:36Like nature at times and times
39:40We walk on polluted beaches
39:44Feeling our bodies misinterpreting
39:47Ain't I mad at who you are
40:00Ain't I mad at what you say
40:04Where you feel it's just for a strike
40:08It's a light weather in your head
40:12Like it, straight on the right
40:16Your relationship's alive
40:20And the threat's gonna make you sweet
40:24But you're holding on
40:27Like a weapon in your head
40:30Come down
40:33And disintegrate with me
40:37We're cut down
40:40We're cut down like the taisies
40:43Like the tall puppies
40:46Come down
40:48And disintegrate with me
40:52We're cut down like the taisies
40:58Take it on us and slow
41:04Like those endless hot summers
41:08But you will never be blind and careless
41:11And your music will never be long and sweet and low
41:15But your hopes for love
41:18Like a weapon in your head
41:22You'll still be alone
41:23You'll still be alone
41:24You'll still be alone
41:25But you're not alone
41:26You'll still be alone
41:27But you're not alone
41:29Watching from the outside
41:30Tesselation
41:31As an art
41:33Hesitation
41:35I'm still afraid
41:37That you'll come off
41:39Like a weapon in your head
41:42Come down
41:44Come down
41:46And disintegrate with me
41:49We're cut down
41:53Like the taisies
41:55Like the tall puppies
41:57Come down
42:00And disintegrate with me
42:03We're cut down like the taisies
42:05You'll learn to message
42:08You'll learn to message
42:13Come down
42:17And disintegrate with me
42:22We're cut down
42:23Like the taisies
42:24You'll learn to message
42:28Come down
42:30And disintegrate with me
42:33We're gonna stand on black
42:37It's time today
42:38We're free
42:41Put your hands on the other
43:04Everybody clap your hands
43:11Yeah
