01:12reminds us that we were created for community in Genesis 2 verse 18 social
01:16media can be a tool to connect with others share our experiences and build
01:20relationships however social media has a dark side it can lead to comparison anxiety
01:26and addiction the Bible answers about the dangers of coveting and comparison
01:31James 3 verse 14 to 16 let's be aware of these helpful and strive for balance in
01:38our online lives the Bible encourages us to be mindful let's reflect on our social
01:43media use first of all how do you use your social media do you feel like it's
01:46enhancing or diminishing your life I mean in this episode I'm not gonna say
01:51social media is bad or not but I want you to think about it is it ruining your life or
01:55is it diminishing what's your own capabilities what are your thoughts on
01:59the impact of social media on your relationships and your mental health the
02:03Bible encourages us to be mindful of our thoughts and emotions in Philippians 4
02:06verse 8 to 9 as we navigate social media let's prioritize truth kindness and
02:11self-control let's seek in use social media in a way that honors God and builds up
