00:00It was weird, because my office got shut down during the strike, so I came and really
00:12truly remember the last time I left my office.
00:14The goodbyes got interrupted by the strike, but that's no big deal.
00:18But I've not been back to Prospect.
00:20There's still some people that work there, I know some people that work in Grey's Anatomy
00:23that films there.
00:24But now McDreamy's house is built on the set, on the stage where we used to have The Shield,
00:28and I think I'd be depressed if I went there and saw that.
00:33It's good for Grey's Anatomy, but it's bad for my memory.
00:35So my guess is that I'll stay away and just try to remember Prospect the way it was.
00:41I was there for so long, we were there for seven years, that it really sticks out, you
00:46know, the, you know, parking in my parking spot, the hills in the background, sort of towering
00:51over the studio, you know, walking into the building that we were in.
00:55And, you know, it's probably best left in my memories and probably wouldn't be such a
00:59good thing if I went there now and checked it out.
01:01I've been, you know, I've driven by that exit a number of times on the 101 and just looked
01:07into that sort of enclave, you know.
01:10I have driven by a lot of places where we've shot in that, you know, downtown area and gone
01:17like, uh, I remember, uh, I think that L.A. will never be the same for me in that way.
01:27You know, that'll be forever, you know.
01:30So, uh, today we're, uh, uh, starting to get all of our gear that we've been using for
01:36the last seven seasons into one place.
01:39Uh, we probably won't get started today, but we'll start inventorying, counting, separating,
01:45because some of the stuff belongs to Kevin Ball, some of the stuff belongs to Sinelese.
01:49So we'll have to separate that.
01:51The other thing, the big thing we have to do is go upstairs and start pulling all our rigging
01:55down for all the flying, the roofs that flew, all the walls that flew up.
01:59All that stuff has to be de-rigged before you can start tearing that stage apart or it
02:02will come down and hurt you.
02:04So, that's our, that's our plan for today and, uh, for the next couple of weeks is to
02:09work on all that.
02:10Oh gosh, we've got probably about two weeks and everything, because we've got so many
02:14things that are rigged high.
02:16Uh, we've got, I mean, if you take a look around, anything that's hung by chains and shackles,
02:21uh, boxes, aluminum, we put up there and we took down.
02:25So when you're dealing with somebody working high and somebody working down low, you've
02:28got chain motors, they just take time to be rigged and, uh, it's a slow process.
02:33You can't hurry something like that, especially if someone can fall and, uh, hurt somebody
02:36or even kill them.
02:37You should take a walk in there and see how desolate it is.
02:51Oh.
02:56Oh, wow.
03:17Ah, ha, ha.
