00:00He won it. It didn't help him to save the match because I was already two points ahead
00:04and we drew the final game, game 24. I won the match, our last match, the fifth one.
00:11And I kept coming back. So thinking, okay, so what about this queen sacrifice?
00:18Because what I didn't like is just, you know, that when you take this pawn,
00:22the knight has to go back and it's not the best location. And then suddenly I realized
00:27it's always nice to take a pawn, but we already have a broken material balance.
00:33Black has two bishop and a pawn for the queen.
00:36One extra pawn maybe doesn't make much of a difference. What about playing the knight c2?
00:41That's a move I strongly recommend. That's a novelty that, you know, could be a game changer.
00:49White moves rook somewhere on the front and then you go back.
00:54Now knight is on d4, king d1, knight d7, knight e2.
00:59And here you can even play something like a6, preventing white from exchanging and going on b5.
01:07Because when white takes here, you take, knight goes here, then you can go knight e5.
01:12And while you're still down, it's a queen versus two bishops.
01:17But look, the king is there and position is still closed.
01:19And the moment your bishops will start operating, things can change quite dramatically.
01:25Maybe not knight e5, you can maybe play c5 immediately.
01:28So that's another interesting move.
01:31So, for instance, the game could end up with, for instance, bishop e7, queen e7.
01:35Then you can force a draw, for instance.
01:38That's a perpetual attack on the queen.
01:41I would say that knight c2, it's quite a typical Garry Kasparov move.
01:48Because instead of winning the pawn and almost equalizing material, I'm looking for activity.
01:57So it's activity over material.
