00:00I want to start by addressing the elephant in the room, sir.
00:03A lot of people did not think it was appropriate for you to be here today.
00:08You have pushed false claims about some of your rivals,
00:11from Nikki Haley to former President Barack Obama,
00:14saying that they were not born in the United States, which is not true.
00:18You have told four Congresswomen of color, who were American citizens,
00:21to go back to where they came from.
00:23You have used words like animal and rabbit to describe black district attorneys.
00:29You've attacked black journalists, calling them a loser,
00:31saying the questions that they ask are, quote, stupid and racist.
00:35You've had dinner with a white supremacist at your Mar-a-Lago resort.
00:39So my question, sir, now that you are asking black supporters to vote for you,
00:44why should black voters trust you after you have used language like that?
00:50Well, first of all, I don't think I've ever been asked a question
00:53in such a horrible manner, first question.
00:58You don't even say, hello, how are you?
01:01Are you with ABC?
01:02Because I think they're a fake news network, a terrible network.
01:07And I think it's disgraceful that I came here in good spirit.
01:13I love the black population of this country.
01:16I've done so much for the black population of this country, including employment,
01:23including opportunity zones with Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina,
01:28which is one of the greatest programs ever for black workers and black entrepreneurs.
01:34I've done so much.
01:35And, you know, when I say this, historically black colleges and universities were out of money.
01:42They were stone cold broke.
01:43And I saved them and I gave them long term financing and nobody else was doing it.
01:49I think it's a very rude introduction.
01:52I don't know exactly why you would do something like that.
01:55And let me go a step further.
01:57I was invited here and I was told my opponent, whether it was Biden or Kamala,
02:03I was told my opponent was going to be here.
02:05It turned out my opponent isn't here.
02:08You invited me under false pretense.
02:10And then you said you can't do it with Zoom.
02:13Well, you know, where's Zoom?
02:15She's going to do it with Zoom and she's not coming.
02:18And then you were half an hour late.
02:19Just so we understand, I have too much respect for you to be late.
02:22They couldn't get their equipment working or something was wrong.
02:25Mr. President, I would love if you could answer the question on your rhetoric.
02:28I have answered the question.
02:30I have been the best president for the black population since Abraham Lincoln.
02:37Better than President Johnson, who signed the Voting Rights Act.
02:40For you to start off a question and answer period,
02:43especially when you're 35 minutes late,
02:44because you couldn't get your equipment to work in such a hostile manner.
02:48I think it's a disgrace.
02:50Let me just ask a follow up, sir, and then we'll move on to other questions here.
02:54You believe that Vice President Kamala Harris is only on the ticket because she is a black woman.
02:58Well, I can say no, I think it's maybe a little bit different.
03:01So I've known her a long time indirectly, not directly very much.
03:06And she was always of Indian heritage and she was only promoting Indian heritage.
03:13I didn't know she was black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn black.
03:18And now she wants to be known as black.
03:20So I don't know, is she Indian or is she black?
03:22She is always identified as a black woman.
03:24I respect either one.
03:25I respect either one, but she obviously doesn't.
03:28Because she was Indian all the way and then all of a sudden she made a turn and she went,
03:33she became a black person.
03:35Just to be clear, sir, do you believe that she is a...
03:36I think somebody should look into that too.
03:50...
