00:00It's Texas Tech, and it's Arizona State.
00:02The favorite in this game, opened up Texas Tech, minus 5.5.
00:05It now sits on game day, 6.5s and 7s, depending where you're shopping at.
00:09And the total, Joe, opened up at 53.5, dropping just a bit to 51.5
00:13and 50.5s, depending where you're shopping at as well.
00:16Texas Tech, Arizona State, injury issues in this game, Joe?
00:19Yeah, so a couple of injuries.
00:21We don't know up until now, and I'm assuming that Sam Levitt potentially is a go,
00:25but on the flip side, for Texas Tech, it will be Will Hammond
00:29taking over for Barron Morton.
00:31Morton will be, I believe, the backup today,
00:33but Hammond's been admirable in critical spots,
00:36has really looked apart sophomore year and stepped up,
00:40especially against Utah in that road environment.
00:43I think when you look at this game, and this game last year was 44-41.
00:47Texas Tech won it.
00:48They shut down, basically, Arizona State in the fourth quarter,
00:52couldn't really get up.
00:53This is a much different defense for Texas Tech.
00:55I did take the 7.5s.
00:56It was 9.5.
00:57I saw, Donnie, 11.5 Sunday night when this line came out
01:02because of the availability at that particular time
01:05with Jeff Sims getting abused by Utah and Sam Levitt.
01:09This comes down to two factors.
01:11Traditionally for me, Donnie, and people that know me know
01:15that I've been backing Joey McGuire in Texas Tech for the last three years.
01:18Love Joey.
01:19Love the program.
01:21Traditionally in road spots, this team has never really stepped up.
01:24They got the road win against Utah, but you're going to go up against Dillingham.
01:28He's 9-0 Arizona State over the last two years.
01:313-0 this year, 6-0 last year.
01:35They play much better at home than they do on the road in the desert.
01:38I'm taking the 6.5, 7 points.
01:41Don't be shocked if it's a four-quarter game.
01:43See that there, what happens in that one?
01:45Arizona State, the home team there, little Dillingham action.
01:48Need to win by a touchdown.
01:49Should be getting a touchdown price.
01:50We'll see how that one plays out here.
01:51Back from the dead.
01:53Who is that?
01:54That's the Texas Longhorns showing life.
01:56Little Moxie from Arch Manning.
01:58He thinks he can win the Heisman Trophy again.
02:00Well, he's going to start today as almost a two-touchdown favorite
02:02going up against Kentucky.
02:04The total, 43-and-a-half.
02:07Stoops, come on now, please.
02:09Donnie, if Texas can't, I know it's after the rivalry.
02:13Yeah.
02:13But if you can't beat Kentucky, in Kentucky, with a team that's dead to rights
02:20and a coach that potentially is on the outside looking in,
02:23might not even be on the sidelines in Lexington last year.
02:27You got a gift last week with Mateo giving you three interceptions.
02:31Was he 100%?
02:32Wasn't he?
02:33The one thing you could carry is your defense.
02:36Your defense is still above average.
02:38And Kentucky's offense is atrocious.
02:40They're on their backup quarterback.
02:42They're winless in the SEC.
02:44This is an opportunity to show out.
02:46If they can't cover a 12-and-a-half point spread against a team that's dead
02:50and buried, I don't know what to say.
02:52Again, I would say Texas are a bust for me.
02:55And, again, that 43-and-a-half, you would think that if Arch gets going,
02:59they should blow through that total.
03:01But it's Texas or no bet for me.
03:03It's funny, too.
03:04Like, you just see Texas in any game.
03:05And, again, Kentucky used to be able to put up points in the past.
03:0743-and-a-half is crazy because it just feels like
03:09Texas is going to come in and play really good defense
03:11and try to, like, squeeze this game out.
03:13It'll be interesting to see because nothing got ailed from that victory last week.
03:18Texas is back.
03:19Like, I'm just being facetious at this point.
03:20But if we see one of those performances like, hey, 17-14 Texas, stop it.
03:23In the fourth quarter.
03:25Yeah, come on.
03:25Right?
03:25I mean, really.
03:26I mean, they got a gift last week.
03:28They were down 6-3.
03:29The offense was getting abused.
03:31He get the three interceptions.
03:33You win the game and you cover against your arch rival the potential letdown.
03:37But this is a team that, I mean, just from a time,
03:39they're handing out Lamborghinis for kids to go to school at Texas.
03:43You can't beat Kentucky.
03:45Come on.
03:46Get the Hellcats out there and win a football game over there with Arch Manning.
03:48By the way, Arch, did we let the play as Arch Manning if we have the EA
03:51college football game?
03:52Did he sign up for it this year?
03:53Is he too worried about it?
03:54Yeah, I don't know.
03:55I don't know why.
03:56He didn't sign up for the EA?
03:58Do you remember when the, like, hey, every college kid gets, like,
04:00a copy of this and 500 bucks and he, like, didn't sign it when everybody else did?
04:03And so we'll see what happens with Arch today, but they better come up with a big victory here
04:07to sort of push back that feeding mob down there that wants to avalanche that team.
04:12How about this one, Joe?
04:13Baylor and TCU.
04:14Line opened up around 2.5 points.
04:16We now see across the board 3.5 in threes in a total.
04:19Also on the rise, Joe, 63.5 in the opening number.
04:22You see the graphics showing 65.5.
04:24There's other outlets out there right now, Joe.
04:2666.5 points are expected between Baylor and TCU.
04:30Yeah, this is, again, this is one of my under-the-radar picks,
04:34but one of my better bets for the day.
04:36I've been on Baylor big picture over the 7.5 win total,
04:39and I'm on them to win the game outright.
04:41I think when you look at this game right now and you look at the teams that they have played,
04:45I've been very impressed with Baylor for that offense and Sawyer Robertson,
04:49not to take away from Hoover and TCU.
04:51I know potentially they're a good home team.
04:54They've covered ATS, I believe, 4-1 in the last five.
04:58That's great.
04:59But when we look at this team as a whole, I believe that Baylor has a much better offense,
05:04and I believe in Aranda.
05:05I think they're a little bit more physical.
05:07You talk about a team that's 3-3 right now, or 1-2, excuse me, in TCU at home.
05:12I think that's a cause of concern.
05:14TCU has won three of the last four, but Baylor won last year 37-34.
05:19I like Robertson.
05:20This team wins.
05:22Don't count them out potentially for a Big 12 championship.
05:25They had great value at 18-1 to start the year.
05:29Keep an eye out for Baylor in this matchup.
05:31I think they win it outright.
05:32All right.
