Star Trek actor & stuntman Jay D. Jones may bear a resemblance to Jack Nicholson. He was in 10 episodes of the classic TV series (1966-1969) including The Apple & Cats Paw (additionally in 7 episodes as a stuntman). Connections: Jones was in the 3rd season's The Cloud Minders with Jeff Corey who was an acting coach to Nicholson.

00:06In this video, I'll take a look at actor J.D. Jones.
00:10He was in 10 episodes of Star Trek the Classic Series, which broadcast between 1966 and 1969.
00:18He often had uncredited roles playing red-shirted Enterprise officers, aliens, etc.
00:25Additionally, it was in 7 episodes as a stunt double, including The Apple in 67, Cat's Paw, A Piece of the Action, The Immunity Syndrome,
00:35and The Children Shall Lead in 68, Day of the Dove, The Tholian Web, Wink of an Eye, The Mark of Gideon, and The Cloudminders in 69.
00:45Other casts in the Star Trek Science Fiction Series, William Shatner as Captain Kurt Leonard Nimoy as the First Officer,
00:53Vulcan, Spock, DeForest Kelly as Dr. McCoy.
00:58So I took a look at J.D. Jones.
01:00All the times I'll be watching Star Trek and spot Jones as a background character.
01:06Almost instantly, I think he resembles Jack Nicholson.
01:10Not so many connections forthcoming between Jones and Nicholson, however.
01:15I mentioned Jones was in The Cloudminders, Season 3, Episode 21.
01:20And in this cast, you'll find Jeff Corey, who was an acting mentor to Nicholson.
01:28Corey became an acting coach in the 1950s.
01:31Worked with others you can trace to Star Trek actors, including Michael Forrest and Luana Anders.
01:38My YouTube channel is Easter Egg Psychic.
01:41There I go back and look at movies and television from the past.
01:44I analyze these for possible references to future media.
01:48These may appear in the form of anecdotes, idioms, anagrams.
01:52Hidden in the subtext of the work in question, I'll also use an unconventional method where I'll look at the likenesses of the actors.
01:59And what I've found is you can take the likenesses, match these up to some of the anecdotal items,
02:07and show past, present, and future information about actors and other personalities
02:13that may resemble the personalities in the movie or television episode that you're watching.
02:17My email contact is EasterEggGuy, that's G-U-Y, at Yahoo.com
02:26Thanks for watching.
