In Poland, a court rejected Germany's request to extradite a Ukrainian citizen suspected of being involved in the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines in 2022. The Warsaw court judge ruled that the request was not worth considering and ordered the immediate release of one of the alleged authors, Volodymyr Zuravaliev. This judicial decision comes just days after a similar ruling in Italy, where the Supreme Court refused to extradite another Ukrainian suspect related to the same case to Germany. Currently, the attack on Nord Stream is one of the most complex and important cases of sabotage in Europe since 2022, as it disrupted one of the main routes for the supply of Russian gas to the continent.
