00:00Yeah, I'd go broader than that. I think it's a great day for the city, a great day for the region, you know, to have a team that can represent at the highest tier in a professional sport. It's been a long time coming. So the last time we were in this position was the 85-86 season and hopefully we can, yeah, kick on from here.
00:19Were you always confident that this would be the outcome?
00:22I don't know if confidence is the right word. We always bought into the strategy that if we were ready and we did things right that the opportunity would come, whether that be this year or in the future, but we're very thankful that that opportunity is now.
00:36And how do you now start preparing?
00:38We started preparing months ago, months ago. Our recruitment's been done for the better part of the month. Our staffing up procedures, you know, whether it be commercially, you know, on all fronts. We knew that getting started now wouldn't be successful. So regardless of what the outcome was today, we've been prepared for this moment and now it's time to execute.
01:01I was asking Jason at Bradford yesterday, obviously there'll be a lot of talk about how you're preparing on the field, but is there just as big a challenge to prepare off the field and be strategically ready to be an elite Super League club?
01:13Yeah, absolutely. We've staffed up and a lot of those staff members that we need for this jump to full time and obviously now to Super League, they had to be made three months ago because those employees needed to give three months notice.
01:26So when you say we got ready months ago, I'm not just talking about player recruitment, I'm talking about what the club needs to be successful.
