Transcript
00:00Well it's been a bitterly disappointing day for England here at Wembley where
00:05the first test has finished England 6 Australia 26 pretty predictable really
00:11England competed hard in the first half went in at the break only eight points
00:17down but conceded a try soon after the interval and it was one-way traffic from
00:21then on and to their credit the battle card and didn't give in they managed to
00:26score the last try through Daryl Clark which George Williams converted but
00:30Australia were a cut above really Reece Walsh the man of match from the NRL
00:34grand final the other week had an absolutely superb game scoring two tries
00:38Angus Crichton got two more and Australia was superior in every
00:45department really the positives for England the big crowd the a record for a test in
00:50this country more than 60 thousand I thought Herbie Farnsworth had a very good
00:56game particularly in the first half but he was England's most threatening player the
01:02pack though just didn't really compete with Australia Australia are much better
01:06up front and it's going to be a huge task for Sean Wayne to get his men up now for
01:12the second test at Everton on Saturday Australia you will think will get better as
01:18the series goes on and they're already superior to England so it's going to be a
01:23tough day next week but England live to fight again they've got a lot of work to do though
01:30and already at this stage of two games still to go it's hard to see anything
01:36other than the North and Whitewash unfortunately stranger things have
01:40happened but at this stage Australia look to have all the answers to any
01:46questions England can pose them so disappointing day England 6 Australia 26
