00:00Hello and welcome to this Western Australian Jane's weather update for Friday.
00:04We have fairly clear skies at this stage.
00:06Today is the warmer day out ahead of some wet weather coming through across the weekend
00:10if you're in the southwestern parts there.
00:13Let's unpack that.
00:14We've got this that is streaming in.
00:16We're going to see that moving into us across the weekend.
00:18We're also going to see some moistures coming down from the northwest,
00:21but no sign of that at this stage, but that one is going to be a huge weather system.
00:25So today, fairly quiet, but we can see something that is building over to the west.
00:30So by the end of Friday, it's just clipping that southwestern corner.
00:33We've got heat that is out ahead of it.
00:35It is affecting that southwestern part.
00:38We've got our warmer temperatures today, but that's pretty much the end of them as this one moves on in.
00:42So there we have Friday.
00:44Have a look at Saturday.
00:45We've got this coming in here.
00:46We've got cloud that is now starting to build in through there.
00:49That's that feed of moisture.
00:50That's during the day on Saturday.
00:52Sunday, that kicks off into the start of a band of rain that is moving through.
00:56Feet of moisture from the north, but that's not coming into the southwest.
01:00Instead, we've got the reins of this system here.
01:02The energy from that.
01:03This is during the day on Sunday.
01:05It doesn't really extend inland, but as we move through Monday, there it is still in that southwestern corner.
01:11So we've got this part, and then we've got this huge weather system.
01:14It's going to sweep down across the southeast of the country.
01:17That one is not coming to us over in the southwestern corner.
01:20We've got our own one.
01:21So into there, you can see the blues here.
01:23That's some cooler air that is coming back.
01:25So let's have a look through Monday.
01:27Into Tuesday, high pressure is coming in through here.
01:29So just some coastal activity.
01:31Still, that band of rain is going on.
01:33Into Wednesday, that band of rain is reforming in through there, but we've got nothing here in the south.
01:38High pressure, doing a bit of a jelly bean shape in through here.
01:41So there's a trough, which is why we're seeing all of that activity happening out to the east there.
01:46So not coming down into the southwest corner.
01:48That's during the day on Wednesday.
01:49This one kicks off and starts heading east once again.
01:53But is this something that we might see in through here?
01:56There's Thursday.
01:57Let's have a look at Friday.
01:57So a full week away at the stage.
01:59So not high confidence yet, but keep coming back to the maps at Farm Online Weather so you can track to see if this is going to come to your spot or not.
02:07There's Friday and potentially next Saturday.
02:09So we might get something out of the second part of this weather system as it comes through.
02:14So by the end of next Friday, this is what it might add up to.
02:17Good falls out in through here, but over in the southwest, 15 to 25 pretty much is the best that we can do in through these paths.
02:24And it steadily decreases as you head away.
02:25So we're not expecting significant falls from that, but we are expecting some cooler air.
02:31So having a look at Perth, this is where we have the heat today.
02:34It's not complete heat.
02:35It's still starting with a 2, but it is our warmer day in comparison to what we have had.
02:40So that does not continue.
02:41Now have a look at our top temperatures as we move right through this forecast period here.
02:45There is nothing there that is anything that is considered extremely warm for this part.
02:51Saturday, Sunday into Monday, that's when the wet weather is coming through the southwest.
02:55Then it is fairly dry as we move into next week.
02:57So the warps is there today.
02:59It disappears ready for the weekend and it doesn't come back during the week next week.
