00:13In June 2025, a man, Samad Abdul Rahman Shah,
00:16attending a virtual hearing from his toilet seat,
00:18was caught on camera relieving himself during live-streamed proceedings.
00:21The court had later fined him Rs. 1 lakh with an unconditional apology.
00:25In July 2025, Senior Counsel Bhaskar Tanna was seen sipping from a beer mug
00:29in talking on the phone during a Gujarat High Court virtual hearing.
00:32His behaviour then led to a suo-mo to contempt action
00:35and a possible withdrawal of a senior counsel title.
00:38The judiciary updated its SOP in August 1, 2025,
00:40including decorum, attire and a virtual waiting room,
00:43but online hearings still full of drama.
