00:02It looks like it's probably going to be Carson Wentz that gets the start.

00:05Carson Wentz used to play for the Eagles,

00:06hasn't played against the Eagles in a game.

00:08Now he's going to do that.

00:09The Eagles are a favorite here,

00:11listed between 2.5 and 1.5, depending on where you're shopping at,

00:14and a total of around 43.5.

00:16Now, early in the week, I have no support here,

00:18no love right now for the Philadelphia Eagles.

00:20They were absolutely atrocious against the New York Giants,

00:22and they got injured.

00:23But the more I start to think about this game, Joe,

00:25I look at Minnesota, I don't really like their team that much.

00:28They give up a lot of rushing yards on the ground.

00:30But also understand this.

00:31The Eagles were injured against the New York Giants,

00:33and I'm figuring that Quinion Mitchell's probably not going to play.

00:36That's devastating news when you get to take on Justin Jefferson here.

00:38But Quinion Mitchell actually practiced in a limited capacity yesterday on Wednesday.

00:43Something to keep an eye on.

00:44Also understand this.

00:45Jalen Carter, one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL,

00:48did not play against the Giants.

00:49He logged a full practice yesterday.

00:51And more importantly, if you want the Eagles running game to get ongoing,

00:54the guard center guard position has to improve.

00:57You know, you get that?

00:57Landon Dickerson back in the lineup.

00:59He practiced yesterday in a limited capacity.

01:01Keep an eye on that.

01:02For me as an Eagles fan, dead in the water the past two days.

01:06On Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday, starting to get a little bit more hope.

01:09And we'll see what happens this weekend.

01:10Do I love the Eagles in this spot?

01:11No, I don't.

01:12But if you can get Quinion Mitchell in this game, that's a massive year.

01:16Because otherwise, J.J.'s torching that secondary.

01:18Yeah, and it's not a great spot for him, Donnie,

01:22because the Eagles are in the middle of a divisional sandwich spot here

01:26because they just played the Giants last Thursday.

01:29And then they're going to play them again here in week eight next week.

01:33So now they've got Minnesota sandwiched in between here.

01:36So it's a tough situation for the Eagles.

01:40Minnesota has been pretty good at home here with Kevin O'Connell,

01:44not to mention coming off a bye, having an opportunity to be able to straighten some things out.

01:49But this game to me is all about defenses, right?

01:52Which defense gets the turnovers, which defense shows up and shows out?

01:57It's hard to trust Philadelphia's offense, Donnie, in this spot here.

02:01But it feels like Minnesota, if I can get them at two, two and a half, Donnie,

02:06am I not using them in a teaser in this week here?

02:11It feels like I should be.
