00:00Hi Billboard, this is Kali Uchis. We have two sold-down nights. Not one, but two.

00:15And to the tour bus tour. A tour? A tour bus, absolutely.

00:20This is where I sit and I drive for 16 hours straight.

00:24I'm not going to help you because they're going to be helpful.

00:26You didn't want me to do that. Okay.

00:30This is our lounge. This is where we lounge at.

00:36Throw up a movie, throw up some music videos and, you know, have a good time.

00:42This is where we heat up our food. It is an air fryer.

00:46This is what I use to straighten my tea leaves since I don't use tea bags, so I straighten my tea.

00:52This is my cash. This is our fridge.

00:56Pasture what's in here right now.

00:58Goat yogurt, which is a lot of what my son eats for breakfast, along with fruits, banana, egg,

01:05coconut, boiled eggs. He loves his boiled eggs, so we boil the pasteurized eggs in catering.

01:11We keep living here.

01:13Please let you go with me.

01:19Tonight we're in Boston.

01:21It's the 17th out of 26 shows for the North American tour.

01:27I feel like I'm really happy with the way the tour is being received.

01:32Honestly, I didn't know what to expect when I was in rehearsals.

01:37I feel like I put things together very abruptly because a lot of things that I had planned for

01:44didn't end up, you know, happening the way that I expected them to happen.

01:49And so I just had to roll with the punches and come up with things on the spot

01:54and change a lot of things creatively, come up with a lot of things in the moment during the rehearsal.

02:00And so the show just kind of took a life of its own.

02:10My main thing is that I like to leave people feeling inspired.

02:13I like to leave people feeling empowered.

02:16That's a big factor for me during my performance.

02:19It's a big part of why I play the video that I do, the montage that I do about immigrants in this country.

02:25Majority of the audience at these shows is Latino.

02:29So it would be a missed opportunity to not empower my community at a time where we are being attacked.

02:36So all of that is a big part of my show.

02:40And what I do is just leave people feeling uplifted, empowered and inspired, honestly.

02:46So I've been happy that people have been enjoying it.

02:50And it's pretty much just been receiving good feedback.

03:05On the average show days, I have been just kind of, I wake up.

03:09I hang out with my son during the day.

03:13And then by the time it's soundcheck time, it's kind of around his nap time.

03:18So I go to soundcheck.

03:21I do, I kind of get into glam almost right after soundcheck.

03:25It kind of depends sometimes.

03:27I probably, I eat right before.

03:29And then, yeah, I just get ready.

03:31I do some stretches.

03:33I check my outfit to make sure there's no issues with my outfit.

03:37I check the content.

03:39I kind of have conversations about maybe things we want to change from last night.

03:44Things that may have not been the way I wanted when I looked over videos from other shows.

03:49And that's pretty much what we do every day here.

04:00This is where my son has slept while sleeping on the bus.

04:04He has a little detail right there.

04:07Okay.

04:08His pillows are avocado brand.

04:12Non-toxic.

04:13Organic cotton.

04:15Pesticide free.

04:16All of that.

04:17This is my restroom.

04:19I don't use the shower.

04:21But this is my bathroom.

04:23This is the water that I drink.

04:25My Erwan water.

04:26My bed.

04:27This is often where my baby ends up sleeping with me.

04:33But he sleeps pretty good in his own space most of the time.

04:37But this is where we play and snap and whatever.

04:41These are my wings.

04:47I wear them for a song called Iguan Quiranje.

04:50And which means just like an angel.

04:53And so of course I have to come out looking just like an angel.

04:57Obviously.

04:58So this is the outfit we're going to wear tonight.

05:03This is a custom sex outfit.

05:06All great.

05:08This one is my favorite that I wear almost every night.

05:11French Polynesian silk.

05:14This one is Mirapalai.

05:16And um.

05:17Hand crystallized.

05:18It's just gorgeous.

05:19And I'm obsessed with it.

05:25And what I usually do to start my evening is I sign these posters.
