00:00It's been nearly 12 weeks on the block.
00:04We have cried.
00:07We have celebrated.
00:10We have felt every emotion.
00:13I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
00:16That's what the block's about.
00:17And it all comes down to this week.
00:18Final week of the block.
00:19Front yard and front facade week.
00:22It's the week to win.
00:24Tonight.
00:24Cheers.
00:25Let's get to work.
00:26House 2's front facade is growing nowhere fast.
00:30House 2's done nothing all day.
00:32That's our landscape.
00:33One rock.
00:34Nothing's happening.
00:35Why is nothing happening?
00:36What is the plan?
00:38I'm getting worried now.
00:39The only thing growing at House 5 is the landscaper's bill.
00:43We don't have money.
00:45Rob and Matt, they're going to have to pull the rabbit out of a hat here.
00:47I need to pay my guys.
00:49And a front facade faux pas shocks the block.
00:53That's awful.
00:54Is it real?
00:54Looks good.
00:55But what were you really thinking?
00:57It's f***ing terrible.
00:58That has just knocked them out of the competition.

01:26Monday morning, it's foggy as hell.
01:32It's two degrees.
01:33Did you say Monday morning?
01:35Tuesday morning.
01:36It's foggy as hell.
01:38I've got a bit of block brain.
01:39I've got a bit of block brain.
01:42I've got a bit of block brain.
01:43Did you say block brain?
01:44I've had a bit of block brain.
01:45You did.
01:46I feel like you've had a lot of that.
01:48Wow!
01:48Even week one.
01:49Whoa!
01:50I've got a bit of block brain.
01:52to confirm it's Tuesday morning on the final week of the block.
01:58Our teams have just six days till they reveal their front facade,
02:03the final element to completing their homes.
02:07This week is not only about delivering a show-stopping front yard,
02:11each team has also been presented with a list of issues
02:14inside their homes that have to be rectified.
02:18We need to get 237 defects done by Sunday.
02:21Yeah.
02:21As well as a front yard.
02:27When did you become a comedian, Dad? You're so funny.
02:31The couple with the most defects aren't even on sight this morning
02:35as they were treated to their first getaway of the season.
02:42To celebrate Alicia turning f***ing years old.
02:48Yeah, last night we stayed in here at the Royal,
02:51at Zalesford. The publican put us up when he heard it was Alicia's birthday.
02:55So just let her have a bit of a sleep in and come back to pick her up.
02:59Let's go!
03:00That's what I said, I need the tea.
03:05We tried to cap it a lot.
03:07Yeah, so we got a chump's getaway. It was great.
03:10Bed was so comfy.
03:11Did you have the heated blanket on?
03:13I was by no way heated up.
03:15I was.
03:16Woke up on fire.
03:17My first shower in, in 83 days.
03:20He's had a shower.
03:22First proper shower.
03:23Yes.
03:23Yeah.
03:24First non-caravan shower.
03:26Yes, thank you.
03:27I washed my hair and everything.
03:28Oh, so good.
03:30That was 100% the reset that we needed.
03:33We're back.
03:33Back on site today.
03:35We're going to have some fun.
03:36We're going to laugh.
03:37And we're going to win this week.
03:40What a week for House 4 to potentially bag their first room win of the season.
03:45What's up for grabs this week?
03:47Well, I'll tell you what's up for grabs.
03:49If we're going to do this again, let's get the handsome fella back.
03:53We have two MGs, one MG, you.
03:57MG, you.
03:58They will sit in the driveway and get sold with the house auction day.
04:01One MG is coming home with us.
04:02And $50,000 off your reserve of money.
04:05Huge price.
04:06That's the biggest win.
04:07You've got to be going hard this week to win this because that can be the difference between winning and blocking.
04:12Okay.
04:13Okay.
04:13Here we go.
04:14All right, let's move on from taking the piss out of a national treasure.
04:19And check in with House 2.
04:21House 2, or as the girls want their home to be known as, Flow Estate.
04:28So tell me about the term Flow Estate.
04:31Yeah, so Flow Estate is a play on the words Flow Estate.
04:36We've got lots of curves and rounded skylights and features.
04:40We want the inside and the outside to have that flow.
04:43We want you to, like, enter the home and feel enveloped that you're on a journey and that things are moving calmly.
04:50But staying calm...
04:52Can you just stop getting up me because I'm going to lose it in a minute.
04:55...has been in short supply for the girls this week.
04:57So much so that their builder, Shan, stepped in with a solution to bring back some Flow Estate.
05:03You go get the paint.
05:04You go organise the list, please.
05:06Hannah stays outside.
05:08Can stays inside.
05:09And no bickering this week.
05:10And the hope is this new sense of House 2, Harmony and Flow, will extend into their front facade design.
05:18This week, we're continuing our theme with Christian Jenkins, who's doing a Japanese-inspired landscape.
05:25We've been to some Airbnbs with Japanese gardens.
05:29And we just feel like they're very zen.
05:31A big focus on curves.
05:33A big focus on tranquility.
05:35We always want to do a point of difference, but feeling particularly inspired by Japan.
05:41Hey, stop there.
05:44Just because it's Japanese-themed, we're not using a questionably tasteless headline like this.
05:50Or music like this.
05:54Or this sound effect.
05:57We're better than that.
05:59And so are the girls, who surely won't go down the cliche route.
06:02I get random spurts of creativity, and I just thought, wouldn't it be cool if we had a big Torrey gate above the driveway as a statement?
06:18Do you think it's cultural appropriation?
06:21What?
06:22Torrey gates.
06:24Who's Torrey gates?
06:25Judges' feedback last week was the Torrey gates were a little bit hidden.
06:28So Han decided to stick a really big one somewhere really obvious.
06:37As well as their Torrey gate, their front yard features a relaxing zen gun, a decorative rock sculpture house, and timber armour.
06:49Front facade is a first impression of a home.
06:52What sets the tone for the rest of the house?
06:55What better than a three-metre Japanese-inspired Torrey gate over our driveway?
07:01It's bigger than three metres.
07:05Last week we came out on the bottom, but this week we're coming back with a fury and a vengeance, and we're going to pull it off.
07:12Over at House 5, there's a question mark over whether they'll even finish this week, as the budget battles between them and their landscaper continue.
07:31We had told him from day one, our budget for the landscaping in total was $70,000.
07:42To do the job of front yard and backyard.
07:44This is it.
07:46The budget the boys allocated was to cover the likes of a flowing garden, a beautiful water feature, and meandering Tuscan sand paths.
07:55But yesterday, their landscaper, Paul, informed them of an additional unforeseen cost on top of their $70,000 budget.
08:04We're pretty shocked because he's probably 50% over the money we've allocated.
08:10We've got $34,000.
08:12Outstanding.
08:13Sorry, what?
08:14There's $20,000 that's gone from excessive engineering.
08:20Mesh, extra labour and custom poured footings.
08:25Didn't know about any of this.
08:27How was this not communicated?
08:30The communication hasn't been phenomenal, so I don't want there to be any expectation on us to pay more.
08:39That's not how it's going to work.
08:41Front gravel path rebuild and extra drainage to legal point of discharge, $11,000.
08:47It's $11,000.
08:48Yeah.
08:48That was where we made him pull it all up to do the aggie drain.
08:51Is your landscaper here?
08:52He is.
08:53I reckon he's out the back.
08:55Yeah, he's gone ahead and done all these works.
08:57Yeah.
08:58Without doing any sort of inspections or anything.
09:01Do you remember us receiving that email?
09:03Sub-grade inspections must be completed by a representative from 9 and 6.
09:09We need to see what's below this, just to make sure we've got a good solid base.
09:12This is all going to be ripped up.
09:13He never took the time to read it all, open up the attached documents and fully understand what he had to do.
09:25I think that $11,000 one's on him for him not reading plans and taking the time to understand what was required.
09:31In total, there was about $29,000 worth of unforeseen costs on his end.
09:39I reckon you could at least halve that from what I'm hearing.
09:42Yeah, but there's no money to pay for half of it.
09:44No money to pay for a dollar of it.
09:46I mean, zero.
09:46The only way we're going to finish this landscaping is if he finishes it and it's the $70,000, which we've already paid.
09:57And if he doesn't, then we give him what we can and he walks.
10:00You kind of need to, you want to, you know, you have to finish your landscaping.
10:03Yeah, I know, but it's more the fact of he's wanting money.
10:07We can't get it.
10:08I don't feel like he should still be working.
10:13Robbie and Matt, they're going to have to pull the rabbit out of a hat here because they need Paul to stay and finish his front yard.
10:18They're going to have to somehow negotiate something here with him.
10:22It's a variation bill that they didn't know about.
10:24Some of the variations I don't agree with, so there is room to negotiate.
10:28They need a front yard to sell the home.
10:31If you don't have a front yard or if it's left like this, they're not going to win the block.
10:35They might not even sell.
10:46It's Front Yard and Facade Week on the block.
10:49Over the past 82 days, the blockheads have turned empty spaces into show-stopping rooms.
10:55Holy f***.
10:56And one team are hoping to repeat the trick for the final time this week.
11:01Game on, Molls.
11:03Wow.
11:04Last week's winners, Emma and Ben, are finally back from their MG getaway to get stuck back into block life.
11:10All right, that's off.
11:12That's on.
11:13Let's get to work.
11:14And speaking of stuck...
11:16Definitely in reverse.
11:17Yeah.
11:21Hold on for a second.
11:22Guess what I just saw.
11:26What?
11:264D doors.
11:28House 3.
11:29Garage door.
11:30We've got a bit of a reveal for our garage door.
11:33It's a risk.
11:34But there's a lot of the wine this week.
11:36We thought we'd go big.
11:37So, the plan is to have this beautiful Indigenous artwork going on the garage door from Troy Firebrace to the Jaja people.
11:45But we don't want to display that so early on in the week so other people can, you know, offer their plans.
11:51So, the plan is to cover it up with something...
11:55A bit lighthearted.
11:56Their secret weapon, a one-of-a-kind Indigenous artwork on their garage door, will be covered until Sunday with a unique Graphico creation.
12:05Damien from Graphico, there's nothing he can't do.
12:08He has created a beige dot abstract photo of myself and Britt holding two drills, standing back to back.
12:20And it's awful.
12:23But it's believable if you think we're flogs.
12:28So, you've got your faces on your garage door?
12:30Yeah.
12:30To be clear.
12:31But suddenly, not like in your face space.
12:34And it's beige, so it goes for the team of the house.
12:36Troy!
12:37Troy!
12:38Would you put your face on your garage?
12:40Yeah, Troy's well aware of what we're doing.
12:42I'd buy it.
12:43I just...
12:43I wish it was just Taz just there in his...
12:45Yeah!
12:45I'd go like this.
12:51Dan doesn't know.
12:52Is Dan falling for it?
12:54Dan is completely falling for it.
12:56I think it's...
12:56I don't know.
12:58He pulled us aside.
13:00Numerous times.
13:01Told us, do not do it.
13:03Off camera.
13:03I called Troy, our landscaper, and said...
13:06Troy!
13:07I'm worried for him.
13:09He can't do it.
13:10Troy says, nah, we've got to sell Taz and Brit.
13:15This is their story.
13:16Dan hung up the phone.
13:19And, like, it's selling it to Dan,
13:21but as soon as it goes up tomorrow,
13:23we have to sell it to everyone else on the block.
13:24We've got to sell it inside.
13:25F***!
13:29With 24 hours till that big reveal,
13:32the biggest one, the blockhead's front yard,
13:34is only six days away.
13:36Will you be here all week,
13:37or do you reckon you'll get out?
13:38Oh, I've got no idea.
13:39Time disappears very quickly around here.
13:40Yeah.
13:40And the prize of $50,000 off your reserve
13:44is the kind of coin some houses could do with now.
13:48It'd be great to have, like,
13:50$50,000 budget for front yard week
13:52and really rip into it.
13:56That's our landscape.
13:58One rock.
14:00It's minimalism.
14:01Yep, with this week's suggested budget
14:04for the front yard set at $20,000,
14:08plus defects to sort out,
14:10houses are feeling the pinch.
14:12So let's check in with a team
14:13who are masters at counting the coin.
14:18Here they are.
14:19Hi, mate.
14:20This is great to see.
14:22So all carpentry's nearly done in here?
14:24Yeah, it's all done.
14:25Now we've got a gap in paint?
14:27Yeah.
14:27So you'll be out of here in a couple of days?
14:29Hopefully over here maybe tomorrow.
14:30What's today?
14:31Tuesday, yeah, maybe.
14:32Wednesday or Thursday,
14:33depending on what happens outside.
14:34The last of everything this week.
14:36We'd hate to walk out of here without a win.
14:42We seem to keep getting pipped
14:44because we just don't have
14:45that little 1% thing to tick us over.
14:48So this week we're putting a big $260,000 caravan
14:52in the front.
14:54Yes, the quarter million dollar caravan
14:55they won back in week six
14:56will be their front yard showpiece.
15:00Along with a small seating area
15:03outside the guest bedroom.
15:06Generous lawn space
15:07and the only team to have a second driveway.
15:12Quintessential Aussie front yard.
15:15With a caravan in the front.
15:16We've left nothing in the bank,
15:18nothing in the tank.
15:20This is the last chance.
15:22Paid all your bills, Sonny?
15:23We paid all our bills, mate.
15:24We paid every single bill we got.
15:25Every cent accounted for.
15:28How it should be.
15:31Our landscaper says that we owe him
15:34$30,000 of unforeseen costs.
15:37We have to address the issue today
15:39and come up with a solution.
15:42Yeah, talk about where we are moving forward
15:43to get it all sorted.
15:44We've never experienced
15:47someone just putting it on
15:48an extra nearly 50%
15:49on top of a bill.
15:52So Dan said
15:53there is room to,
15:55you know, negotiate it.
15:57We don't have the money
15:58to give him
15:59we agreed on 70 grand
16:02to do the job of front yard
16:03and back yard.
16:05So the boys have literally
16:06come to the table
16:07with their landscaper, Paul,
16:09and his wife
16:10and business partner, Carmen
16:11to attempt to find a resolution.
16:14So we need to work out
16:16either is Paul going to finish the job
16:17or is he going to leave the job
16:19and Matt and I will finish it
16:20with our terrible landscaping skills.
16:22I guess, long story short,
16:23like, we are stoked with the backyard.
16:25Like, it could not be better
16:26if we tried
16:27and we are so happy
16:28with you guys being our landscapers
16:29and versus, like,
16:30what do we do moving forward
16:31because at the end of the day,
16:32Matt and I,
16:33we don't have the money.
16:38That's, like, full stop.
16:39We've got maybe five grand.
16:42At the absolute max,
16:44that's going to be
16:44cutting back from
16:46finishing the house.
16:47Yeah.
16:48So we can't finish
16:48everything inside.
16:51Like, so the money
16:52is still outstanding
16:53for my business.
16:54I, I'm only a small business.
16:56So do I have to take that front
16:58and go at a loss?
16:59I'm not sure the answer
17:00that answer is.
17:01I don't think that's fair.
17:06But also,
17:07it's probably not fair.
17:09There wasn't any
17:11communication to say,
17:13hey, guys,
17:13we're five grand over budget.
17:15Hey, guys,
17:15we're ten grand over budget.
17:17Hey, guys,
17:17we're fifteen grand.
17:18There was.
17:21It, it was communicated clearly.
17:23You guys are so flat out.
17:24I've got text here.
17:25I've got proof here.
17:26It's been,
17:28even being on camera,
17:29Robbie said,
17:30we've got an extra
17:30twenty grand from
17:31Combank, was it?
17:32Mm-hmm.
17:33It's, it was said,
17:34like, so the money
17:35was there.
17:36I was going off the money.
17:37I thought you had,
17:38yeah.
17:38I need to pay my guys.
17:55It's probably not fair.
17:57There wasn't any communication
18:00to say,
18:01hey, guys,
18:01we're five grand over budget.
18:02Hey, guys,
18:03we're ten grand over budget.
18:04Hey, guys,
18:05we're fifteen grand.
18:06There was.
18:09It, it was communicated clearly.
18:11Look, it's, it's,
18:11it's crazy, crazy.
18:13You're so busy.
18:14Yeah.
18:14And you probably just looked at,
18:15you know,
18:16the text message
18:17or the email really quickly.
18:18Um,
18:18these are all the different invoices.
18:20And then I've put here,
18:22hi, Matt,
18:22balance owing from
18:2322nd of May to 52k.
18:26There's, yeah,
18:27it's constant.
18:27There's emails
18:28and all that sort of stuff.
18:29Robbie said,
18:29we've got an extra
18:29twenty grand from
18:31Combank, was it?
18:31Mm.
18:32It's, it was said.
18:33I was going off the money.
18:35I thought, well, you had.
18:36Matt and I said,
18:36look,
18:36we probably can get you
18:37$20,000.
18:38And I said,
18:38I will confirm with you
18:39once we know
18:40exactly how much we've got.
18:42It might have been
18:42a little bit of miscommunication.
18:45Being in this situation,
18:47number one,
18:48we feel like
18:49we're letting Paul down
18:49when it's not
18:52either of our intent
18:54or what we're about.
18:56Um,
18:57yeah,
18:57I just don't know
18:58what the next move is for us.
19:01Number two,
19:02we feel like
19:03you know,
19:04we don't have the money
19:05to give him
19:07for what he's
19:09wanting and expecting.
19:11We obviously,
19:12we put our hand up
19:13straight away
19:13and if you guys,
19:14you know,
19:15we can't afford you
19:15then we have to finish
19:16the job by ourselves
19:17which we don't want.
19:18Well, I said
19:19I'd do the front.
19:20I'm happy to follow through.
19:23Paul,
19:23you know,
19:24we give him credit
19:26because he wants
19:27to finish the job.
19:28He wants to finish
19:29a beautiful front yard
19:30for house five
19:31on the block.
19:32I guess we just have
19:33to go away
19:34and work out
19:34where we can cut costs.
19:35You know,
19:35sending plants back,
19:37cancelling labourers.
19:38You can use Matt and I
19:39at your disposal
19:40for whatever you need us to do.
19:42A hundred percent.
19:43We are going to do
19:44absolutely everything we can
19:46to get as much money
19:47as we can
19:48to give to Paul.
19:50We're going to try our best
19:51to make whatever we can
19:53happen.
19:54Yeah.
19:54In my head,
19:56I'm like,
19:57OK,
19:57if we win a challenge,
19:57bang,
19:5810 grand straight to you.
19:58And this week is,
19:59you know,
20:00double car
20:01and 50k off your reserve.
20:03Maybe give us a car.
20:06The main solution
20:07was that we finish.
20:08That's the only goal
20:09this week,
20:09that we finish our front yard.
20:11So Matt and I
20:12are just rolling up
20:13our sleeves
20:13and be Paul's labourers
20:14for a couple of days.
20:15So you're out helping.
20:16How are we going
20:17with D-Tex inside?
20:20Couldn't give a ****.
20:22Couldn't give a ****.
20:24The difference in protection
20:31as you look up and back?
20:33Oh, nothing.
20:34Like, what's going on?
20:35House 2's done
20:36nothing all day,
20:37really,
20:38just throwing rock
20:38out the back.
20:41Nice size rocks.
20:43Yeah, beautiful.
20:46Landscaping may be
20:47slow going,
20:48but the girls
20:48are getting things done
20:49as they're sticking
20:50to Shan's separation order.
20:52Inside can
20:53is on defect duty.
20:59An outside hand
21:00is on a shopping mission.
21:06So you're sort of doing
21:07like a Japanese
21:08zen garden.
21:09And so far,
21:10Shan's plan
21:11has seen a sharp
21:12decline in bickering.
21:13We're chasing
21:14a water feature.
21:19Bye, honey.
21:21Did you get my text messages?
21:24It's Toscan Path
21:25Northcote Potteries.
21:26We could put one
21:27out on the, like...
21:28Barbecue area
21:29or alfresco.
21:31That's what I'm thinking.
21:32Hmm.
21:33It's not...
21:33The backyard's not
21:34going to be judged,
21:35so...
21:36I know, but, like,
21:37I'm trying to
21:37sort out a deal, all right?
21:38So just go with it
21:40and say which one
21:40you like, please.
21:42Ah, it's feeling
21:43a bit tense
21:44and awkward again,
21:45so let's move on.
21:46Oh, look, there's Alicia.
21:48Hello.
21:48What can we do
21:49for you today?
21:49I need lots of paint, please.
21:54I think I ended up
21:56with 77 litres of paint.
22:00I love painting.
22:01I find it therapeutic.
22:02I f***ing hate painting.
22:09Now, how's your
22:09front yard progressing?
22:10We've got the ramp
22:11going in, tiles,
22:13all our trees out the front.
22:14We're reversing our caravan in
22:16as that's being sold
22:17with the house.
22:18We've lined up
22:19a little sneaky car
22:21to stay in our driveway.
22:23I'd commandeered the MG.
22:25The ute that's up for grabs.
22:27I wanted to show
22:27the amenity of our place.
22:29Two driveways.
22:30Yeah, two driveways.
22:31So you can buy that house.
22:33You will have the caravan
22:34and hopefully an MG ute.
22:37We're putting it out
22:37to the universe.
22:40Caravan, car, house.
22:43Win the block.
22:45Toodaloo.
22:46And so day 82
22:48concludes on the block.
22:50No, sorry,
22:52no commercials yet.
22:53As I've literally
22:54just been told,
22:55there's a surprise for me
22:57in my sawmill.
22:58And I genuinely
23:00have no idea
23:01what it is.
23:02Ricky!
23:05Hello, Gil.
23:06You look good, Scotty.
23:07You look very nice.
23:09So the end of Tuesday,
23:11Lee takes Scotty
23:12into his sawmill.
23:13It's quite bizarre
23:14summoning Scotty
23:15to his own sawmill
23:16when normally
23:16he's the one doing it
23:17for us
23:17and reading us
23:18for filth.
23:18I have been summoned
23:19and that's the first time
23:21that's ever happened
23:22to me before.
23:23Who do you people
23:24pick you up?
23:26What's going on?
23:27Welcome.
23:27Welcome.
23:28Hello.
23:29Hello.
23:30He was a bit
23:31taken aback at first,
23:32I think.
23:32He didn't know
23:33what was going on.
23:33Didn't know what was going on.
23:34I think he thought
23:35it was an absolute
23:35stitch up.
23:36What are we doing?
23:37Am I going to get
23:38some feedback?
23:40Pop, pop, down, Scotty.
23:42This is our show
23:42at the moment, mate.
23:43I'm sorry.
23:43My apologies.
23:45I've been asked
23:46to be the spokesperson,
23:48which is a big honour.
23:49Right.
23:51Here we go.
23:51Right.
23:53Scotty.
23:53Are you nervous?
23:54No, not at all, mate.
23:55You should be.
23:56You should be.
23:59Scotty.
23:59Yes.
24:00What a pleasure
24:01to be standing up here
24:02in your place.
24:03Who would have thought
24:04in 11 and a half weeks
24:05that we've been here
24:06we would not have only
24:07built a whole house
24:08but we get the opportunity
24:10to take your place
24:11in front of the camera.
24:13Don't worry, mate.
24:14I won't get too comfortable.
24:17You don't look comfortable at all.
24:19For all of us
24:21that stand here
24:22in front of you
24:22and no doubt
24:23the previous blockheads,
24:24you've been so supportive
24:25and it's not often
24:26that you get any thanks.
24:29All that we seem to do
24:30is whinge about our scores,
24:32ask for more money,
24:34bicker between ourselves
24:35and generally be a thorn
24:37in your side.
24:39So today we get to say thanks.
24:41We've all come down here
24:42at one stage
24:43and found you tinkering away
24:44on the swords
24:44and the woodmiser.
24:45Seeing you on that woodmiser
24:47the first day
24:47was like watching a child
24:49going down the slide
24:49for the first time.
24:52It was.
24:53Big smile on your face
24:54looking like you're not
24:55going to let anyone else near it.
24:57We've managed to commandeer
25:01a portable
25:03woodmiser
25:07LX50
25:08of your very own.
25:09He was chuffed.
25:18I thought he was going to cry.
25:20Is that mine?
25:21That's yours, mate.
25:22Yours, mate.
25:22That's yours.
25:23So on behalf of the 2025 blockheads,
25:26we'd like to thank you
25:27for a great season
25:27and we can't wait to see
25:30what wonderful creations
25:31you build with this.
25:32You're right, Scotty.
25:32Thanks for that.
25:33Thank you, Scotty.
25:36Well, this is the nicest thing
25:39that's ever happened to me
25:40in my life.
25:41It's absolutely incredible.
25:42He nearly got emotional, yeah.
25:44He did have a tear in his eye.
25:46He was like,
25:47oh, Christ,
25:48that's what I was saying.
25:49That is so unreal.
25:50I've never been given a gift before.
25:52And you know what?
25:53Scotty's not really
25:54much of a hugger.
25:56This is unprecedented for me.
25:58I thank you so much
25:59and I feel,
26:00which I've never done before,
26:02a group hug.
26:03Yes.
26:05We love you, Scotty.
26:10Probably another thing
26:11we get asked out in the streets
26:12is,
26:13how's Scotty Cam?
26:14How's Scotty Cam?
26:15What's he like in real life?
26:16He's fantastic.
26:17Yeah, he's fantastic.
26:18He's like a dud
26:18and he's one of the best humans
26:20I've ever met.
26:20Yeah.
26:21And we're so very fortunate
26:22and lucky to be here.
26:23Yeah, we are.
26:24Now, you guys are playing
26:25for the transport.
26:26No.
26:28Scotty, on camera
26:29and off camera,
26:30is the same bloke
26:31that you see.
26:32He's a good man.
26:32But he's also got
26:33a soft, soft heart.
26:34I've been doing this
26:35for a long time.
26:35I've been at Channel 9
26:36for 26 years
26:37and you guys
26:38have been my best.
26:39I promise you.
26:41That's really great.
26:41That means a lot.
26:44So it's wonderful.
26:45OK, you can go
26:46to the edge now
26:47before I cry.
26:48Oh.
26:48All right.
26:49It feels just like
27:11a little blur
27:12of three months.
27:13This has been our whole life
27:15day in, day out.
27:16We have cried.
27:17We have celebrated.
27:19We have felt
27:20every emotion.
27:22Exhilarating.
27:23Depleted.
27:24Depressing.
27:25Happy.
27:25Sad.
27:26You know, even when
27:26you are kicked off site,
27:28your mind does not stop.
27:29Like, this is 24-7,
27:31seven days a week.
27:33But even for our
27:35most dedicated blockheads,
27:36cracks are appearing
27:37in their commitment
27:38this week.
27:39Had a bit of a sleep
27:40in, did we?
27:40Oh, I've not missed
27:47a single pre-start.
27:48Well, you have.
27:50Now.
27:50Now I have.
27:52Pre-start for those
27:53who remember to attend it
27:54is a mandatory
27:56daily safety briefing
27:58run by site supervisor
28:00and beacon of positivity,
28:02GMAC.
28:03Don't block anything.
28:04We'll just pick the car up.
28:06We'll put it out the street.
28:07Been dying to do it
28:08all season.
28:08And non-attendance
28:09from a team
28:10is a big no-no.
28:11I know.
28:12Yeah, just...
28:14Phone's in charge
28:15and missed alarms,
28:16so it's on us.
28:19Yeah, I've got to find Dad.
28:20Dan Dad.
28:21Called Dan Dad.
28:22Can't play that.
28:27What?
28:31Oh, I thought
28:32I got away with it.
28:36Mate.
28:37I know, I know.
28:39Unlike you.
28:40I know.
28:41Daddy does let you off lightly.
28:43I didn't call him Daddy.
28:46Well, you never missed one.
28:47You've been very good.
28:49Yeah, it's just...
28:50Just up late doing stuff?
28:51Yeah, yeah.
28:52I had a bit of stuff
28:53to get done and...
28:54OK.
28:55Yeah.
28:55Dan.
28:57Let us offer the warning.
28:58Oh, I appreciate it, Dan.
29:02For Daddy.
29:03For Daddy.
29:04For Daddy.
29:05I hate this.
29:09Oh, you love Dan too much.
29:13I do love Dan.
29:14I don't care who you are
29:17Where you're from
29:20What you did
29:22As long as you love
29:24Dogguts
29:25Grommets
29:26What width is it?
29:29As basic Sunday
29:30On the floor
29:31As long as you love me
29:34Who you are
29:35As long as you love me
29:38He did a really good job
29:40As long as you love me
29:45Are you buying me dinner next week?
29:49Are you buying me dinner next week?
29:50Is he?
29:50Yeah.
29:50As long as you love me
29:53So, compared to this time last week
30:09How do you feel this week's going?
30:11Last Wednesday
30:12I think Ben was crying in the corner
30:15And I was crying in the other corner
30:18So it's a little bit different to last week
30:20But the winners from last week
30:22Will be hoping it's another outside space victory
30:24The entrance is framed by bottle trees
30:27And a fern garden running along the front of the house
30:30Plus multiple sections with timber decking
30:32Yeah, we've probably got three decks to build
30:36So we've still got our work cut out for us
30:38We've got our landscapers coming in tomorrow
30:40To smash out the rest of the front yard
30:42I'm feeling good with where we're at
30:43We still have a big week ahead of us
30:45But I think it's achievable
30:47We think we've probably got the biggest area to landscape
30:50We'll see what everybody else delivers
30:54But I think we've got a strong front yard
30:56Yeah
30:57Big, big wreckage
30:59House won't officially have the biggest area to landscape
31:01With their neighbour one of the smallest
31:03Although given its size
31:06Outside hand is progressing slowly
31:09In the front
31:12Where that garden bed is
31:15What sort of plants are we putting in there?
31:17I'd like to put some bamboo in some pots
31:20Yeah
31:21I was looking around and I was just like
31:24What's happening?
31:25Nothing's happening
31:26Why is nothing happening?
31:29We'll be right
31:30What sort of pots?
31:32Um
31:32Um
31:36Um
31:36We love Christian
31:44He is such a visionary
31:51He's a creative
31:52But he moves at his own pace
31:54Um
31:57They're just so big
32:02These two boulders aren't they?
32:03Yeah
32:03Doing from the side
32:05We can see all our neighbours
32:06We can see where they were at
32:07We can see lawn
32:08We can see structures
32:09And plants going in
32:11And we're like
32:12Rolling dirt around
32:13What is the plan?
32:18Everyone showed their cards early
32:20We're not showing ours
32:22We're keeping our garden a secret
32:25I know there's a plan
32:27I know that he'll get it done
32:28I know that he's like the hardest worker ever
32:31But for me it's uncomfortable when things aren't happening
32:34Especially after last week
32:36I think we're like
32:37Yeah
32:37What do we need to be doing
32:38To get this yard there?
32:39Yeah
32:39But progress can't be stopped
32:42At house three
32:43Who are now ready to reveal
32:45A unique front facade facelift
32:47To their competitors
32:48Oh my god
32:51I feel sick
32:52The house is Britt and Taz guys
33:03So we made the house
33:04We designed the house
33:07So obviously people buy the house for us
33:08And our story
33:08And yeah
33:10We're really selling the story
33:11About Britt and Taz
33:12And who they are
33:12I don't know how I'm going to keep this up
33:14Garage doors are here
33:17Did you change it?
33:19Change it?
33:19Have we changed it or not?
33:20We're rolling with it
33:22Word down that end of the street
33:23I still think that
33:24Forward Ann thought we were joking
33:27And then the door goes on
33:29Oh my god
33:36No
33:39What do you mean no?
33:41It's subtle
33:42It's subtle?
33:52Dan comes around
33:57Just said the garage door
33:58Oh my god
34:05No
34:09There is our faces
34:12On the garage door
34:14Wow
34:19Wow
34:19All you've said is wow
34:22Wow
34:24Didn't word spread quick
34:29Tell me that's a joke
34:33Is it real?
34:37Did you do this?
34:38We've taken a risk
34:40You don't watch the show Matt
34:41But people who buy these houses
34:43Buy into you and your story
34:44Look
34:44I love myself
34:46But I'm not that indulgent
34:47Wow
34:52I'm so shocked
34:55Everyone thinks we're that big of flogs
34:57Everyone thinks we're that vain
34:58That we would actually do this
34:59You've got to be bold
35:00Yeah
35:01Do you like it?
35:03Looks good
35:03You look hot
35:05Oh you
35:06Yep
35:06We're all for it
35:08Why?
35:09If it takes a point off them
35:10It puts a point on us
35:11So all good
35:12Roll it
35:13Check this out
35:14I love it
35:15You love it
35:16It's good for our game
35:20Leave it
35:20Love it
35:21Wouldn't change a thing
35:22We told everybody
35:23Do not tell them otherwise
35:25You love it
35:26And it's great
35:27But what were you really thinking?
35:29It's f***ing terrible
35:30That has knocked them out of the competition
35:35It's really going to hurt them at auction
35:38Don't worry about judging
35:39I'm worried about auction for them
35:40Yeah
35:40That's the one
35:41That's what I'm worried about
35:42People were full bored into it
35:44Little do they know
35:45But behind that monstrosity
35:46Is a beautiful artwork
35:47And we can't wait to reveal that
35:49Yeah
35:49There's a little part of you like
35:50Maybe we'll keep it
35:51Absolutely not
35:53Absolutely not
35:53That is getting ripped off
35:56Like if I have to burn the house down
35:58That is going away
35:59To be honest
36:02I quite like it
36:03But I'll tell you what I like more
36:05I know you guys are a bit tight on budget
36:13And you already started working hard
36:15And so
36:15You're the Bunnings hardest worker for me
36:17You can have a baker's dozen
36:19Which is 13
36:21Any size
36:22Of any plant you want
36:29We're not having a palm tree
36:31That's a good prize
36:32That's a great prize
36:33Can I give you a hug?
36:36Yes
36:36All right
36:37Come on
36:38Bye
36:42Bye
36:46Thank you for the tree Scotty
36:48No worries
36:49And now with their tree haul
36:52House 5's front facade
36:53Has renewed potential
36:54To stand out from the pack
36:56Oh god
36:58You're a f***ing idiot
36:59You're throwing it everywhere
37:00I can't deal you today
37:03And having those game changers
37:05In your front facade
37:06Like House 3's outdoor cinema
37:08And House 4's caravan
37:10Could be the key to bagging
37:12Those two MGs
37:13At 50 grand off your reserve
37:16Courtesy of Bunnings
37:17So there is now
37:20A worry at House 2
37:21They need more showstopping items
37:28Candice this is important
37:30Like are we gonna get a sweater or are we not?
37:33No
37:34Well we can't afford it
37:36Yes we can
37:37We did the maths last night
37:38Hannah
37:40Why are you getting
37:42Because Ken
37:43I'm getting worried now
37:44Yeah Ken and I take turns
37:48To freak out
37:48And overwhelm
37:49And get stressed
37:50So today was my day
37:51To do that
37:53I'm outside
37:54And I'm saying
37:55We have the money
37:56I sat down for hours
37:57Into the maths
37:58So then buy it Hannah
37:59Why are you yelling at me?
37:59Because I need your approval
38:01Buy it
38:02There you go
38:02There's my approval
38:03Well no but where do you want to put it
38:05And what does that look like?
38:07It has to go next to the pool cabana
38:09Because that's the only place
38:10They can rip out and run wires
38:12I would not be
38:15Right now
38:16This front yard is the most important thing
38:19This is what's getting judged
38:20And you realise that you have to have those things in your mind as well
38:24Oh look
38:25Han is very strong minded
38:29And when she's caught in a negative spiral
38:32It's hard to pull her out
38:34Okay so look at everyone else's
38:36I'm focused on the front yard
38:39The back yard is done
38:40But it's also important
38:42What's going on?
38:44What's going on?
38:46But then Lee steps in
38:48As a voice of reason
38:50Please
38:51Let's just start rational
38:53Yeah
38:53And keep things calm
38:55What you've got to think about
38:58Is the grand prize this week
39:00Right
39:00Gives you a car
39:03For the house
39:04Which is a sale point
39:06Right
39:09Your priority is your front garden
39:11Yeah exactly
39:11That's where you need to focus
39:15Betty stepped in to support you a little bit can
39:20Was it nice to have Lee sort of help you out?
39:23Yeah it's lovely to have Lee here
39:25And he knows Han very well
39:28And how crazy she is
39:29It's been an absolute rollercoaster of emotions
39:32Hannah and I have had tears
39:35Blood, sweat, crying, laughing
39:37But yeah
39:39Wouldn't change it for the world
39:40It's been
39:41Life changing
39:42And I'm so proud of you
39:47And I'm so proud
39:49Of what we've produced
39:50Without you
39:57Like I could not have done this
39:59Like
39:59You're my rock
40:01And
40:03Literally like my world
40:05I just don't want a day without you ever again
40:08Like I've just
40:09You're just the best thing in the world
40:11And it's been so amazing
40:12Being by your side
40:13Doing this together
40:14Oh
40:15I loved you
40:16You don't want just one day apart
40:19After this
40:20You're such a bitch
40:21It's official
40:37It's day 83 on the block
40:39A mere four days before our blockheads
40:41Will have fully completed their homes
40:43Is about to hit its conclusion
40:45We're fully planted Wednesday
40:49And we have turf arriving in the morning
40:51And then I'll be fully turfed tomorrow
40:53Way done
40:53What's that?
40:59What?
41:00Grab it
41:01What is it?
41:02I don't know
41:02Just a rock
41:03Gold nugget
41:04I think he's found gold
41:07He's struck gold
41:07That would be pretty funny
41:08Let me look
41:09I'm a geologist
41:10It's on my land by the way
41:13Nah
41:15Fool's gold
41:15Fool's gold
41:17Alright
41:17That's why Dan found it
41:19Thank you for coming out
41:31Yeah
41:31No
41:31Just trying to plan the front yard
41:33The lighting is a huge aspect
41:35So it's really important that we get this right
41:37Yeah absolutely
41:38What are we thinking?
41:39So there's going to be lots of trees
41:40So I was thinking of using the spike lights
41:42I mean we've got a lot of options for outdoor lighting
41:45It's a lot of people's first impressions to the house
41:47So we have to make sure that it really stands out
41:49Absolutely
41:49Feeling okay
41:51The boys from Love It Landscaping
41:52With a bit of progress outside
41:54I think we're going to have a beautiful front yard
41:57And I think the garage door
41:59That is great
42:02The real one
42:03Is going to be really incredible
42:07It's a statement piece
42:08The water feature is a statement piece
42:10The $30,000 outdoor cinema is a statement piece
42:13Like we've thrown everything at this front yard
42:14Because $50,000 off the reserve is amazing
42:16And imagine walking away with an MG
42:18And parking one in the driveway
42:20It's the week to win
42:22Yeah
42:22What a state
42:23Have a bed
42:31Ah not
42:32Just putting a landscape together
42:34Who would you say
42:36Is the hardest worker
42:38Out of Em and Ben
42:40I would say
42:42Emma
42:43Because she's
42:4412
42:4520 weeks pregnant
42:46Oh
42:48I also think you're a hard worker too Benji
43:01Like you do a lot of back end work
43:04I need a paintbrush before Bunnings closes
43:11No not really
43:13Okay
43:13Alright I'm a hard worker
43:15But our official Bunnings hardest workers
43:18Have hit another stumbling block
43:20In a week that's been full of them for the boys
43:25I go for a drive to the other side of Melbourne
43:34To pick up some garden edging
43:3630 metres worth of our curve we're using
43:42And they gave him one length
43:44I've been dazed and confused
43:46For so long it's not true
43:48I'm about
43:49To explode
43:51I've done four hours in the car
43:53For one little bit of steel and a peg
43:56One I should have had 16
43:57Lengths
43:59I'm ready to kill someone
44:07I'm ready to kill someone
44:10I listened to some murder podcasts
44:14On the way there
44:15So do you know what
44:16Don't tempt me right now
44:17Because I'm volatile
44:19What
44:22Four more days
44:30Not that I'm counting
44:31I think you'll miss this one
44:33Do you know what
44:35I'm going to miss
44:36Seeing everyone every day
44:37Because we've sort of
44:38We haven't thought of
44:39We've created a little family dynamic
44:41With everyone
44:42Like everyone has their ups and downs
44:43But best friends do
44:45Family does
44:46It's only normal
44:47Especially in a high pressure environment
44:48Like this
44:49But
44:49I'm going to miss seeing them all every day
44:52You know
44:53Even the crazy ones
44:55What's she doing
45:00Just smacking the boxes
45:01Smack of the box
45:02Smack of the box
45:03I'm going to miss her
45:08A lot
45:08We love her
45:09Hold me
45:11Okay
45:11Spin me around now
45:13Nine
45:15One more
45:15One more
45:16Oh
45:17I feel weird in my tummy
45:21I just love Matt
45:24I love him so much
45:25Makes me emotional
45:26Alicia
45:26He's still death eyeing me
45:30Along to you Gold Coast
45:31Along to you
45:32He's one of those people
45:34That you could be having the worst day
45:35And he'll just give you the biggest
45:38Most heartfelt hug
45:39And he'll just say something
45:41So off the cuff
45:42And so inappropriate
45:43If you steal my couch
45:44I'm going to steal your husband
45:46That
45:47No matter how much you're growing
45:49You have to stop and laugh
45:50Such a good person
45:51Cheers girl
45:52Cheers
45:53Cheers
45:53What I love about Leesh
45:55Whoever loses is in the pool
45:57Same, same
45:58She said
45:59If we win this week
46:01I'm giving the car to my mum
46:02She wants to win
46:03To do something nice
46:05For other people
46:05There's not many people
46:11You come across in your life
46:12That are as kind
46:13And as genuine
46:14Go Leesh
46:15Go Leesh
46:16Go Leesh
46:17She's just such a kind soul
46:23And I feel so fortunate
46:25That both the boys
46:26Have been our neighbours
46:27That we've got to do
46:28This ride with them
46:28Means a lot to us
46:31Tomorrow night
46:33I've done something
46:34I actually don't know
46:36What to say
46:36Yeah
46:37It's crazy
46:37There are some unwelcome surprises
46:40For our blockheads
46:41Whoa, whoa, whoa
46:43That hasn't been proved
46:44Yes it has
46:45It's just one thing
46:46After another
46:47Hello
46:47It's feeling like
46:49Oh my gosh
46:49What else could go wrong
46:50And in the final days
46:52The competition gets rock hard
46:54It was awesome
46:56Seeing such a massive structure erected
46:59I feel like I need something
47:00A little bit larger
47:01I just don't get it
