Will new EU border checks make you rethink travelling to Europe?

With new entry and exit rules coming into force for travel to the EU, we asked people in Birmingham whether they’re aware of the changes—and if it’ll make them think twice before booking a holiday abroad.

00:00I've heard, particularly the likes of Spain, they're doing more and there is a worry that it's going to take.

00:09But the bottom line of it is, are these governments going to do everything that's going to stop the tourists going?

00:14So they might start having a disaster to start with, but I don't think it will stay that way for loss.

00:20I feel like anywhere we travel, whatever we've got to do, we've got to travel.

00:25We can't just, like, turn up, expect to go into an airplane. If they want to make us have a visa or do extra checks, then so be it.

00:34But it ain't going to put me off because at the end of the day, that's just like one small success or holiday that I'm going to enjoy anyway.

00:39So, like, I don't see anything wrong with it too much.

00:41It's possibly a very important thing in the digital world. I think if you have worries about travelling, then you are not going to travel anyway.

00:49But, erm, I have travelled through the world and I'm saying that everywhere is the same as Britain.

00:55You just need to have a relaxed attitude, show respect for the culture and you'll get on.

01:01Like the same as Britain is going to go.

01:02Like, the other people love that we've got to be middle and all aboutō.

01:04And people look so good, as you know.

01:05I tend to go with that.

01:06As you know, a big thing in time is the answer.

01:08What are those things in the future?

01:13And they're probably going to be the same way to actually verouse.

01:17People are going to be the same way to go.

01:20I'm going to be a little bit.
