00:06and accelerating clean energy transition ahead of the 43rd ASEAN Ministers on Energy meeting.
00:12Two key preparatory sessions, the East Asia Summit Energy Cooperation Task Force
00:17and the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Energy Plus 3 focused on enhancing coordination for the upcoming ministerial meetings.
00:24The EAS-ECTF gathered ASEAN member states, Timor-Leste, Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Russia and the US
00:35where they reaffirmed their commitment toward a secure and inclusive regional energy future.
00:40As ASEAN Chair, Malaysia underscored the importance of collaboration in renewable energy integration,
00:45cross-border power interconnection and innovative financing mechanisms
00:49under the forthcoming ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation, 2026-2030.
00:55Meanwhile, the SOMEI Plus 3 meeting deepened collaboration with China, Japan and South Korea
