Three people confirmed dead in house fire in Gladstone, Queensland

Three people have been killed in a house fire in the Queensland city of Gladstone.

00:00Well Melissa, emergency authorities were called to the Tuluwa property just before six o'clock

00:09this morning to report a house was on fire. Now upon arrival that house was fully engulfed

00:15in flames. While firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control about 90 minutes

00:21later, the two-story home by then had partially collapsed, hampering those search efforts.

00:27Now police have tragically confirmed that three people have died in the blaze and they

00:33haven't ruled out that more bodies could be found. We don't know the identities of the

00:39people involved at this stage and the cause of the fire as well remains unknown. So those

00:45investigations are continuing and we hope to bring you more information as it comes, Melissa.
