07:48some of our couples had a chance to meet up with family and friends
07:51for in-laws week and some of them had a really positive experience.

07:58What have you guys seen in this dynamic?

08:35I felt like the sister was quite perceptive.

08:53So, yeah, I think they're both maybe trying to reshape themselves into each other.
09:00Look, it's just a tricky one, but I do acknowledge they're both doing their best.
09:04So let's talk about Julia Ruth and Devani, shall we?

09:10I think Julia Ruth's friends really were not impressed.

09:17He was feeling verbally attacked.
09:19But it's not going well for these guys who's up.

09:25And he just starts shouting for no reason.

09:29I just, I kind of feel like Julia Ruth is over Devani.

09:35She's going to stick it out as they are.
09:36But I just feel like she's a bit over him.
09:39And when she's explained to her friends that it's not going well, they've immediately just heard it's not working.

09:47And attacked.
09:48That's it.
09:48And they started attacking him.
09:49Yeah, straight away.
09:50They're not trying to see any good in Devani at this point.

09:55And he did say it was love at first sight when he saw Julia Ruth.

10:27Rebecca said she's not quite ready to say I love you back to Bailey.
10:32But Kira and David told Kira's mum that they are totally in love.
10:37Nellie told her siblings that it's make-or-break time for her and Stephen.
10:41In-laws wink made Dean ask himself if he and Sarah will really progress beyond friends.
10:48Leah has been questioning what Lee is giving to the experiment.
10:51And Maeve and Jo have been reminded that they really need to start asking the questions
10:58about what's going to happen outside the experiment.

11:25And now I'd like to introduce you to Mrs. Hot Dog, also known as April.

11:35I've worn this on your behalf because you really are a giant green flag, I've got to say.

11:52How did it feel at the end of the aisle, seeing Leo and his mullet?
11:56And I honestly, I love a mullet.
11:58Like, I genuinely do.
11:59Honestly, as soon as I saw the back of his head, I was like, OK.
12:02And then, yeah, he turned around, like, everything, like, looks-wise, they delivered on.
12:06Like, when I got down there, I was thinking, oh, damn.
12:09Because I've genuinely had so many boyfriends where I haven't fancied them at the beginning
12:12and their personality is what's there made me fancy them.
12:15Funny gets funny.
12:17And, like, and that is that when I then got someone who I found attractive straight away,
12:22I was almost shocked by it.
12:23I didn't think that was going to happen.
12:24The chemistry was firing.
12:26Yeah, right.
12:27Between these two straight off.
12:28And you and Leo really do share the same values, especially when it comes to freedom and travel.
12:35Would have that been a deal-breaker if Leo didn't share those values?
12:38Yeah, yeah, definitely.
12:40I mean, at the end of the day, there's certain things you can compromise on,
12:42but if someone's ready to settle down and have, well, I do want to settle down,
12:46but, like, as in have a house or kids and stuff like that, it's just not what I want for my life.
12:50So if he didn't...
12:51At this moment.

12:53So if that, I almost just, I want a travel buddy for life currently,
12:57and then maybe, maybe one day I'll get a house.

13:18So that pash at the end of the eye that you guys had,

13:27Oh, I just, yeah.
13:28Apparently I just let loose and just did it,
13:30forgetting that I have, you know, brothers and a dad in the audience.
13:33How did your dad feel about that?
13:35Yeah.
13:35I think he probably looked away.

13:40That's one of the things I liked about it when you lot got married.
13:43I thought, like, just seeing you happy, just genuinely, like,
13:46my man's actually making, let me pinch myself.

13:49I don't think he was expecting.

13:51That he was going to be, like, the full package.
13:54Yeah, absolutely not.
13:55And so it just made you, oh, I went in Rome.

14:00And that's what, it was so real and so honest.

14:31Yeah, so that's what his pals just called him, the Hot Dog.

14:40He's a married man now.

14:48So, you felt that you were very much leading conversations when you were with Leo.
14:53Yeah.
14:53And, I mean, you obviously love a good DNA and a deep and meaningful conversation.

14:57And you've just felt there's a bit lacking there.
15:01Can you sort of speak into that?
15:03For me, conversation comes really easily.
15:06And I felt like there was a bit of a struggle sort of throughout the honeymoon for Leo to open up
15:11and for it just to be as naturally flowing as I wanted it to be.
15:15And I think where, like, on the wedding day, I was like, oh, my God, we have so much in common.
15:19We're not going to be able to stop talking about things.
15:21And, like, the fact that we both, you know, lived in Australia, the fact that we both ski or done this and travelled so much,
15:26I was thinking there's going to be endless conversation.
15:28And maybe that's sort of, like, my expectations were quite high in that sense.
15:31So, then when it fell a little bit flat, I was like, oh, oh, come on.
15:35Because, I mean, you guys would say that it's so foundational to a 20-year marriage is the banter and your friendship and conversation.
15:44Misha was telling me about this before.
15:46Absolutely.
15:47It's important.
15:48Because I can see you're fun.
15:49You want to have fun and so does he and everything.
15:52But I could also see that definitely there's the intelligent part of you that wants a good convo.
15:57That's what she kept on saying.
15:58I kept saying that, innit?
15:59I hope he's intelligent enough for her.
16:01I hope he can match her intelligence because as far as you're coming across, I know that you're definitely quite deep.
16:06Yeah, I think there might have been maybe a little, like, sprinkling of him, maybe him being a bit intimidated.
16:12I don't know because, like, where I do, like, sort of hold my own, I guess.
16:15But, yeah, I think he sort of maybe gets in his own head and is thinking,
16:19oh, I haven't been in a relationship for so long, like, what do I do?
16:21Or he's almost trying to please me too much rather than be himself.
16:25It's difficult because I almost want to, like, squeeze him and be like, just be yourself.
16:27Like, just be, like, fool yourself.
16:29I'm never going to judge that at all.
16:30And then the thing is, he's got two selves.
16:31He's got Leo and he's got hot dog, was it hot dog Santana or hot dog Sanchez or something fancy.
16:38And I think with Leo still trying to figure out who he is.
16:42Yeah, maybe, yeah.
16:43You know, we're all at different stages on our soul journey.
16:46So, well, I'd love to know at the end of the honeymoon how you actually felt about going into the apartments.
16:52I honestly was so excited.
16:53But I think, for me, I am such a social bunny.
16:56So I was like, oh, my God, I get to meet everyone else.
16:58And I get to, like, talk to everybody else.
17:00And I was like, this is so exciting.
17:01You really are an extreme extrovert.
17:03I am, I am, like, probably at 98% extroverted, yeah.
17:06Because at one point he admitted he is an introvert extrovert.

17:09Which helped you get a bit more insight into who he wants.
17:13But, yeah, for you, just like, I want to process this and talk and move through it and hang out with everyone.
