Logan Wilson on Being Benched in Favor of Barrett Carter, Bengals' decision to make change
Transcript
00:00I told him that like on Wednesday of last week, I found out,
00:03we found out about this on Monday and I put my arm around him.
00:07I told him, I said, there's gonna be no hard feelings between us.
00:10Just know that like, I'm not gonna change who I am.
00:11I still wanna help you out.
00:12I know I played a lot of football and there's things I can still pour into you.
00:15And I told myself I was not gonna change who I am because of a time of
00:20adversity in my life.
00:21And whenever my career is done,
00:24like look back at this time of adversity and be able to tell my kids how to get
00:29through how to work through adversity like this.
00:31And so that's what I'll be most proud of by the end of the day.
00:33I'm still gonna work to continue to get better and just continue to support him as
00:38best as I can because that's what a good teammate would do.
00:40I felt like you did some good things against the Lions.
00:43Like I don't, like you feel like you're playing okay?
00:46I felt like I was, but obviously Zach felt otherwise, so.
00:50Is there, I mean, you're not happy with it, obviously.
00:59But I felt like you're staying.
01:01You're not happy with it.
01:02I'm, I mean, you're not happy with it, but you're not happy with it.
01:05Yeah, it's like I'm just happy.
01:07I feel like something here.
01:08You guys, I felt like a lot of pain hit me up and that was good.
01:10I'm sorry, I'm just happy there.
01:12I'm happy to be able to keep him up as well.
01:15But when I'm doing good with it, I'm all back and I try to be able to help
01:17one of these things.
01:19And when I think about the Lions in the day of my career,
01:23we're not kind of like playing for football,
01:24but you know what I'm not going to do?
