Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw with an update about the Safer Streets Summer Initiative
Transcript
00:00Hi, I'm Clyde Cunshaw, Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire.
00:05Over the summer months we've been holding the Safer Streets Summer Initiative here in Lancashire.
00:12It has been about rebuilding the connection between the public and the police,
00:17about getting as many police officers as we can back on the streets, working with businesses,
00:23working with the communities, tackling antisocial behaviour and keeping you safe.
00:29Within that, we have seen over 500 of the e-bikes, scooters, illegal used vehicles
00:40that are causing such a nuisance, taken off the streets of Lancashire, being crushed
00:48and making sure that they can't cause problems in the future.
00:52There's also been over 7,500 visits from the police to business premises and over 500 arrests
01:02of people causing antisocial behaviour, criminal damage and causing a nuisance on our streets.
01:09It's been a really successful campaign. Also, I have invested over £130,000 of our proceeds of crime money,
01:21money that's been taken from criminals to put back into community projects.
01:27All about tackling antisocial behaviour and keeping the streets of Lancashire safe.
01:33There's been an Incisionme salvo and since обычно flame heils the various companies saying this,
01:41thank you, Mr racket.
01:43Thank you for your attention to this, thank you, Mr Rabbi.
01:46Jamesечно, thank you for the opportunity and mySpoop organization I will stay off with outside of the gaiter.
