šŸŽ™ļø Here’s a clip from my just-dropped new podcast episode…

The Mind of Sai Marie welcomes Bill Hulseman—spiritual formation guide, community leader, and ritual architect—to the mic. In this powerful conversation, we explore the sacred intersections of queer identity, memoir, and discernment, while reflecting on how ritual and presence can transform family dynamics and cultivate safe spaces.

Bill’s work invites us to slow down, listen deeply, and engage with the sacred through intentional practice and mythic resonance.

🌿 Tune into this episode rooted in vulnerability, clarity, and spiritual cadence.

00:00We often approach it as a fixed entity, as a fact of ourselves. It's what you inherit. It's where you land in the world. I think of identity as different. I think of it as a tool. And I also think of it as a window. So let me explain. As a tool, it's a tool for understanding ourselves, for understanding others, for helping us navigate the world.
00:21Some tools don't work. Some tools break. We need to repair them or replace them. Likewise, the identities that we're born into, sometimes that doesn't serve us anymore. Sometimes we need to repair or replace the ones that we've been given. And we don't have an identity. We have several. We have a cultural identity. We have sexual identity. We have religious identity, gender, political, socioeconomic. But each of these identities is also a window. It frames our view of the world, but it also gives others a glimpse in.
