00:02In our society, a woman who is overtly sexual is considered a venomous bitch or someone to be feared.

00:10So what I like to do is sort of take the traditional sort of overtly sexual like bimbo image and turn it around.

00:18And I think that if my video provokes an open discussion, you know, maybe the kids will go and ask their parents these questions, you know.

00:25If it provokes an open discussion about sex with their parents, I think this is a really good thing.

00:31But, Madonna, you have to help me here.

00:33When a 10-year-old sees you chained to the bed or sees your boyfriend bound up and another woman comes by while you're there,

00:40maybe you know that that's a fantasy and you know that other people are able to deal with all kinds of sexuality.

00:47But a 10-year-old is going to get awfully confused here.

00:49Good. Then let them get confused and let them go ask their parents about it

00:52and let their parents, you know, explain to them that it is a sexual fantasy.

00:58Camille Poglia, the famous feminist writer, said that I set women back by objectifying myself sexually.

01:07Oh, I thought.

01:09So if you're a feminist, you don't have sexuality.

01:13You deny it.

01:15So I said, f*** it.

01:18I'm a different kind of feminist.

01:21I'm a bad feminist.

01:23I'm a very sexual person and that comes through in my performing.

01:27And if that's what gets people to buy my records, then that's fine.

01:31I think it sells, but I think a lot of artists are very disposable because all they are is about their image.

01:37And if they make great music and they have a voice that people want to hear for years to come,

01:42then they're going to last.

01:43But if it's only the sexiness, well, some people have survived 20-plus years on that.

01:49But, I mean, you know, that's kind of, I don't think that can happen more than once.

01:53I kind of am seriously Mary Poppins, even though I wear shorts that are really short.

02:02Even though these shorts, I could get arrested for wearing them.

02:06And the tops are, like, super low-cut and you're, like, lying on the hood of a car with a singles cover.

02:13In my own way, seriously, in all seriousness, I am kind of Mary Poppins.

02:17It's all dressed up to me.

02:24Literally, when I was six years old, I would just pose in bikinis and it was fun.

02:37Sometimes I still wear just a plain old black dress.

02:40And sometimes I feel like dressing up and wearing something fun and sexy.

02:43But it's kind of like when you're a little girl and you play dress up.

02:46That's what it is for me.

02:47It's not any, like, big, you know, statement or anything like that.

02:51Do you think some people don't get that?

02:53That you are kind of a traditional girl?

02:55Well, they don't get it when they see, like, the Heartbreaker remix video with me watching Snoop's car.
