00:01It's so funny. Every time I hear someone read, I guess, my resume or the things that I've accomplished,
00:10I always sort of feel embarrassed because they're really not my accomplishments to be proud of, you know.
00:19I'm not even a person who speaks well, you know, so to be invited to these types of events always overwhelms me
00:28because without the power of God behind everything I do, I really am completely inadequate.
00:34I fumble. I always drop the ball. Every time I try to prepare something, you know, I stutter. I stumble.
00:42And, you know, what I say is of no effect.
00:45But what I found is that every time that I pray before I speak and I ask God for the confidence
00:51and that he be glorified in everything that I say and everything that I do,
00:55for some reason, words just come out of my mouth.
00:58So please don't be convinced by what people say.
01:01I'm not brilliant. I'm not a genius. I'm not even gifted, really.
01:05I mean, I have gifts, but these are things that all come from God and through me.
01:12I'm telling you, I'm so blessed to have reached this place where, you know, five years ago, I was so thin-skinned.
01:18Whatever anybody said would just, oh, my God, they don't like this rhyme and, oh, my songs.
01:23And, you know, and then one day I woke up and it was like my skin was just, it was so thick,
01:30it was impenetrable by those fiery darts.
01:33It just, they just had no effect.
01:34And I realized that that was a strength and a confidence that only came from a higher source.
01:40And, you know, we have to be determined and you have to know that for me now, I'm learning that it's more important to be righteous than to be right.
01:53I've tried to be right.
01:54You know, this is right.
01:55This is an injustice.
01:56This is a travesty.
01:57I'm right.
01:58But I've been very unrighteous and still right.
02:03Oh, my God, you know, because you can attack someone completely right, but it doesn't resolve anything.
02:11You know, it doesn't solve your problem.
02:16So I understand now that the battlefield and that the war is so much greater than what we see before us.
02:23You know, I live in this physical body.
02:26This is like my address, like 22 Eater Terrace.
02:28I just gave everybody my address, but that's my address.
02:32Right, me?
02:33No.
02:34But this is where I live, you know, but there's something much deeper.
02:38Who I am, you know, has nothing to do with, you know, the hair and the shoes and stuff, even though I like shoes.
02:44But, you know, it has nothing to do with that.
02:48So I, you know, and what I do, I mean, I find there's a lot of power in prayer.
02:52So I pray for the people who don't understand me.
02:54And I tell you, to be honest with you, I pray more now to be understood.
02:59No, excuse me, to understand than to be understood.
03:02I pray now to learn how to love than to be loved because God has given me an abundance.
03:09So, you know, I don't need God.
03:11These people don't understand me.
03:12They think I'm crazy.
03:13Every time I'm on the mic, they just, you know, it's not about that.
03:16I pray that I understand them so that I can talk to them, minister to them even more.
03:22You understand what I'm saying?
03:24So, you know, I'm just not afraid of, you know, it's of no effect.
03:30It's immaterial to me because our enemies are not physical bodies.
03:35They're actually our family.
03:37They don't know it, and we don't always know it, but our enemies are not, you know, they're not flesh and blood, and our problems are not flesh and blood, even though we think they are.
03:49So, you know, we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it, and we don't know it.
