Accessing hyper-localized forecast for any location with MinuteCast®

When you type in any location around the world, you can receive hyper-localized weather forecasting courtesy of one of the most popular features in the free AccuWeather app, MinuteCast&reg;.

00:00There are so many tools in the free AccuWeather app to help you to make the

00:07best decisions and to stay safer. After all that's what we do here at AccuWeather

00:10but one of the tools we hear from our AccuWeather customers all the time that

00:14they love is AccuWeather's MinuteCast and that's front and center when you

00:18download the free AccuWeather app which you can do by scanning the QR code on

00:22the screen and when you type in any city around the world or around the country

00:26or use your current location you'll get your latest AccuWeather MinuteCast

00:30right front and center here and you see wording like rain for at least 60

00:35minutes and the MinuteCast dial which shows you the next 60 minutes a minute

00:39by minute you could see the areas of green there indicating lighter rain but if it

00:42was heavier rain you'd see oranges or reds there then you could tap see four hours

00:47and that enables you to go into a more detailed view where you can look minute

00:52by minute out the next four hours by swiping your screen to the left and this

00:57allows you to go out here over the next four hours so people love this because

01:00you can find times when the rain becomes lighter in intensity you can find breaks

01:05in the rain like you see in this particular example between around 12 12

01:09here and right a little bit after 12 30 a break in the rain so you can use

01:14that to be able to time out when to go outside or if you're playing soccer or any

01:18other activities that you may have outside people love this for any kind of

01:22outdoor activities and we update this forecast every couple of minutes so you

01:27can come back and check on it even more frequently than you do other parts of the

01:30AccuWeather app and go down the hour-by-hour screen at the bottom and look

01:34at the risk for rain here over the coming hours you can see the time periods

01:38where that's going to be more likely the rain amount and the risk for rain in that
