00:00Wow, what luck! A trick and a treat in one!
00:02Here's your spooky spot in the Kinder Surprise Halloween Eggs.
00:26And an oversized egg it is as well.
00:28I found this at my local Walmart right around the same time, in fact, that I got myself
00:31the Playmobil Surprise Eggs, also from Kinder.
00:34This is also decorated, you can see, by Mr. Jack-o'-lantern on the top with some bats
00:38flying all around him.
00:41What's interesting, though, is I don't know if his life force is draining, if the entire
00:45red heart, for example, would have been complete if he was fully breathing and fully alive.
00:49But it does look like Mr. Jack-o'-lantern does have a draining energy.
00:54We better top that up fast.
00:55Certainly, though, topping up fast will be the fact that this also does have chocolate
00:59in it, as well as whatever mystery item is found inside.
01:02Being that this is also a larger-sized egg would also equal the fact that this is going
01:06to be a little bit more expensive than your traditional Kinder Eggs.
01:09Setting me, I think, back more close to around $5.
01:13Unlike, though, the $1.79, about $1.80 or so, for the normal Kinder Surprise Eggs.
01:20Again, we're going to go ahead and open this all up.
01:22In order to do that, though, we have to first remove the foil.
01:24I'm hoping, though, it is actually Halloween-themed.
01:27And they haven't just teased this by the fact that Mr. Jack-o'-lantern is here on the top.
01:31And I'm going to open this up and find some ballerina girl inside that I have to build.
01:34Yes, yes, building is, though, is required.
01:37You're going to have to actually open up the canister.
01:39You're going to have to follow the instruction carefully, which I hope to do while still on
01:42camera.
01:43And we're going to put together and see what exactly we're going to be building.
01:45You and I.
01:46Everybody.
01:46We'll be all doing this together.
01:48You guys more so will just be my rooting team.
01:51You can do it.
01:51You can do it.
01:52You can do it.
01:52One guy's going to say, you're going to fail.
01:54I don't really want to listen to a guy like that.
01:55But let's go ahead, though, and open up the foil.
01:58See the very large foil egg that we see inside.
02:03And of course, there's a whole lot more just inside of that as well.
02:06Now, I don't know if this is still true, but I have heard there are some countries that
02:09have banned Kinder Eggs because, again, the idea is you're not supposed to have something
02:13sitting inside a chocolate or really, for that matter, any food item.
02:16It's not supposed to have something non-edible inside of something that is edible.
02:19Let me know if that's still something that if you come from a country where they ban Kinder
02:24Eggs, let me know down below in the comment section.
02:26We're not going to say no, no, no, no, no, no.
02:27We're just going to say, oh, really?
02:28That's such a shame that you can't actually have Kinder Eggs.
02:32I'm going to carefully, carefully open this up.
02:34What I don't want to do is I don't want to break the egg and have it go all over the
02:37place.
02:37But what I would like, though, is to be able to actually get to the contents inside.
02:40And why am I struggling so much?
02:43I'm going to have to break the egg just a little bit.
02:45And look at what it's laid inside, a big giant pill.
02:49If that was a pill you'd have to swallow, my God, man, I'd feel very sorry for you.
02:54But anyways, though, what we have essentially, though, and I know we looked at this lately
02:57here on this channel, is we have a chocolate egg and then we have like the milk lining interior.
03:01This would be protecting any of the amino acids from burning their way through the chocolate
03:05and getting to the foil.
03:06Just think of it as a protective layer of milky film.
03:10It really should stay away from marketing altogether.
03:12We're going to just break off a piece.
03:13I know we've kind of established already with a Kinder Egg.
03:16Let me also just say, too, I said that Kinder Egg has an inferior chocolate and I kind of
03:20compared it to a Hershey's chocolate bar.
03:22I know a couple of people said, buddy, I don't think you'd ever really want to put a
03:25Hershey's chocolate bar in a high tier of a premium chocolate.
03:29I think Hershey's are still pretty good when it comes to chocolate.
03:31I know certainly there's a whole lot better chocolates on the market than just a Hershey's
03:35bar.
03:36These actually aren't bad.
03:37I think sort of what does throw me off and gives me that notion that this does feel like
03:41a cheaper chocolate is more just that the milky film sort of throws and dilutes the flavoring
03:45of the chocolate.
03:46You don't get as much of the strong chocolate flavor because the milky layer inside, the
03:50protective barrier, kind of dilutes the flavoring of it.
03:53I paused just for a quick second just to try, just to try the chocolate.
03:59And it's what I would expect.
04:00It tastes like Kinder chocolate, which, which again, isn't a bad thing at all.
04:05I know really more so the real reason why you guys are looking at this video, I would
04:09hope, is to see exactly what's going to be inside.
04:11Is it going to be, though, Halloween themed?
04:14The only way, though, we'll know for sure.
04:16Well, carefully, carefully.
04:17I'm just finishing off the rest of the chocolate.
04:20We're going to carefully, though, open this up.
04:22And it is not at all, not at, unless maybe, for example, he's dressed like a witch.
04:27It is not at all a Halloween themed.
04:30So it seems that while I did get myself a treat, I did, in fact, also get myself a trick.
04:35Well, seeing as we're here anyways, let's go ahead and take the time to put this all together.
04:39Have a look exactly at what we've got here.
04:41We've got Natoons, Natoons, I don't know exactly what is, what is Natoons?
04:48It's supposed to be, I guess, native and it's supposed to be toons, like, like cartoons.
04:53That's my guess.
04:54I'm probably completely wrong.
04:55Native, nature, maybe it's nature, cartoons.
04:59I, again, no idea.
05:01I don't know really why they've also combined all these animals.
05:03Some of these make sense.
05:05Like I could picture, though, a tiger and a gorilla kind of being in the same environment
05:08and a toucan, a macaw.
05:10No, it's a touc.
05:11Is it a macaw?
05:12I think it's a macaw.
05:12No, it's not a macaw.
05:13What is it?
05:14Ah, I'm drawing now a complete blank.
05:16But the killer whale seems sort of more out of place.
05:19The kangaroo, I could kind of at least buy.
05:21What's the name of that bird?
05:23Toucan Sam.
05:24What was he?
05:25Somebody I'm sure can let me know down below in the comments section.
05:28Anyways, though, what we have is exactly how to build the bird.
05:31The bird does look like, okay, I don't know what exactly.
05:34It tells us that it's 61 centimeters long.
05:37It eats, I'm guessing, 600 to 760 grams, grams of food.
05:44It likes to generally eat fruit, bugs.
05:47I don't know if that's actually a lemon.
05:49Does it like to eat a lemon?
05:50Is that maybe a potato?
05:51It also likes to eat a salamander, lizard, and fish.
05:54And it can fly, I'm guessing, 20 kilometers an hour.
05:59It almost does look like this is the temperature.
06:02This is the temperature in which you cook this bird.
06:04No, no, no, no, you silly, silly macaw.
06:06I know it's not a macaw.
06:07That would actually be the speed limit.
06:09And apparently it clocks.
06:11If somebody was to pull this bird behind, you'd be clocking at around 20 kilometers an hour.
06:17Okay, so some little assembly seems to be required here.
06:20I think all that we really, really need to do is probably attach it onto the display stand,
06:24probably also attach the wings.
06:25If I'm looking at the instructions and I'm looking at the bird, the bird wings, I would think, would go this way, right?
06:33They would attach on like this.
06:37Correct?
06:37Correct, I hope.
06:38And then the other wing would attach thusly.
06:41Just like, oh, I don't think I had that all the way on there.
06:44Let's turn this and make sure I've got it facing the right way.
06:48Oh, okay, I guess it goes like that.
06:49And then the last thing we have to do is, is that it?
06:54Is that it?
06:55I think that's it.
06:56All it does, it just sits on your finger.
06:59That's all the bird is going to do.
07:01I feel really bad, the fact that I can't think of the name of this bird.
07:05Toucan Sam certainly was it.
07:06Fruit Loops mascot.
07:09I'm drawing an absolute blank.
07:11But what exactly does this bird do?
07:13Well, this props back, so I guess you can have it a little bit higher up if you want.
07:16I mean, he's a nice little guy.
07:18I would love to really give him a name.
07:19I would call him Jenkins.
07:22Jenkins the bird.
07:24And then while Jenkins is certainly sitting on my hand as a perch,
07:27you could also take it and perch it on top of this.
07:31I guess this little branch at the sitting alongside your desk.
07:35Maybe the bird is just there.
07:36You kind of pet it from time to time.
07:37How are you doing, Jenkins?
07:39Jenkins doing good?
07:40My little macaw.
07:41And he's like, I'm not a macaw.
07:43Anyways, though, for what it really needs to do, does it actually have a feature?
07:47I think it does.
07:49This closes in.
07:50Does this open?
07:51Okay, this has some levels of articulation that I really wasn't expecting.
07:55This can move up and down.
07:57This can move up and down.
07:58And you can open up the wings.
08:00Generally, though, I would think like when it comes to kinder, there's usually like a gimmick for this.
08:05Something where you'd be able to kind of, if you pulled the tail or if you moved the head, the wings would flap back and forth.
08:10But this seems more just articulated than it does anything else.
08:14Again, like the wings can fold in so it can prop itself upright like this.
08:18You can bring the head down.
08:19Or again, if you want to have it flying, hey, why not?
08:21You can also bring out the wings and have it flying away.
08:26You know, the real trick in all of this is the fact that I did buy these with the idea that these would be like Halloween themed items.
08:31And in the end, though, I really was.
08:34Somebody pulled a prank on this guy.
08:36Not getting a Halloween themed item instead.
08:38What I got, though, was I got a bird.
08:40A bird that, again, I still don't know.
08:42I'm going to probably get like a thousand comments.
08:44I know that's exaggerating.
08:45I don't like people that exaggerate.
08:47I'm going to get, Molly, not quite a thousand, but I get probably a good handful of comments down below.
08:51Letting me know, dude, you should know the name of this bird.
08:54And it's this.
08:55And I'll say, congratulations.
08:56You know the bird.
08:57And I didn't.
08:58To be fair, though, I really wasn't going into this venture.
09:01With the idea that I was going to be opening up and unboxing a bird.
09:04What I thought I was going to be unboxing is perhaps Mr. Jack-o'-lantern that was advertised on the front foil.
09:09These would be more so something I suppose throw in for trick-or-treating items.
09:13As someone comes to your door, trick-or-treat, they say.
09:16Instead of throwing in just a handful of Snickers bar, for me at least, I kind of hold, hoard on to the Snickers.
09:21And I generally throw the Mars bars.
09:23I don't like Mars bars at all.
09:25So if you ever come to my house trick-or-treating, if anything, you'd be getting handfuls of Smarties.
09:29Smarties, by the way, the candy-coating chocolates.
09:32You get a whole lot of those.
09:34And you get a whole lot of Mars bars as well.
09:36I would hoard the Kit Kats.
09:37I would hoard the Snickers.
09:38And you'd basically be getting the after things.
09:40The things I have little to no interest in.
09:42But these would be something, I suppose, you know, as a more expensive way to throw out candies to the kids.
09:48You throw out these big, giant Kinder Eggs.
09:50Just though, when you're throwing them out, if the kid says, oh, is there something inside that's Halloween-themed?
09:54You could lie.
09:55I mean, if the kid doesn't even live anywhere near you, you could just say, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:58It's all Halloween-themed.
09:59And no, you and I would know.
10:01And everybody else that would be watching this video would know.
10:03It's not Halloween-themed at all.
10:05Today's spookerific review, more of a trick than it was a treat.
10:08I guess the treat was still that we got ourselves a chocolate.
10:11But we got more so of a trick.
10:12Because it was nothing at all Halloween-themed inside the advertised Halloween-themed Kinder Eggs.
10:18If you enjoyed this spookerific review, which wasn't really spooky at all, do this all and throw it a like.
10:24You guys want to stick around for more so?
10:25I certainly hope so.
10:26I promise you, though, promsies, we will have more spooky-related videos coming your way for the rest of Spocktober.
10:32As always, guys, thanks for watching.
10:34See you guys next time.
