00:00What more does Drake May need to do as of now
00:03to officially enter the MVP conversation?
00:07No, I think he's in it now.
00:09I mean, look, we have a show to do today.
00:13It's six games in.
00:15The Patriots are 4-2, have won three straight.
00:18The last two games, they basically won because of Drake May.
00:24And if they don't get Drake May basically playing flawless football
00:28and not putting the ball in harm's way,
00:31they stand a good chance of winning.
00:34I mean, this is the, you know, all four of their wins,
00:36either they haven't turned the ball over like they did today
00:39or at least won the turnover battle.
00:41And, you know, look, this team, because they're not all that talented,
00:47their margin of victory isn't very good,
00:49so they almost have to win the turnover margin.
00:52But, yes, at this point in time, with the way that Drake May's playing
00:56and with the consistency that he's playing with now,
00:59you know, if he continues to do this week after week after week,
01:04and, you know, we're talking about, like, he plays at this level
01:08or even raises it a little bit,
01:10and the Patriots keep winning against their historically poor schedule,
01:16then absolutely he will be in the MVP discussion,
01:21and I would expect, considering all the injuries around the league,
01:25the key players, that we're talking about a guy that, you know,
01:28could be, you know, very close to, if not a lock,
01:32for sort of top five in MVP voting.
